SSF4 Arcade Edition 2012 complete Gouken

I hadn’t picked up SF4 back in the Vanilla days, what combos would you do with the LP palm back then. I think the Cl.S.HK will be a great AA, I’m really looking forward to busting people up with Gouken. With the new faster Denjin are we looking at a possible LP Palm - FADC - Denjin?

Seeing how the trailer showed him comboing Denjin off a fullscreen Kongo FADC, that would seem possible

Three simple ones I can think of:

Counter FADC LP Palm
cl.st.mp > c.hp xx LP palm should always work
EX palm near the corner, (but not so that you are in it), lp fireball > lp palm (Bullcat special)
oh and AA fireball to lp palm

link cr.lp into super is manly.

Just link cl.st.hk, better advantage and more damage and plenty of time to hit confirm! same 4 frame startup.

Also, watch maybe 3 or 4 matches of Bullcat from super and you should see it. It’s really easy, but I never saw it until he did it.

Does bullcat no longer up his replays? I don’t see any matches of him online lately.

Yeah, that combo worked on vanilla and in super, they took it out.
on a side note, given mid screen counter combo, anything into 2012 any regular palm should be fadc’able into denjin. which is awesome.

Okay, quick question about the bullcat special. The frame data I have says LP fireball on hit is +6, the LP palm has a startup of 9. How does that combo? or is it where the fireball hits after the first frame like a meaty hit allowing the combo?

it’s a juggle.

because he’s falling from ex palm close to the corner, lp fb juggles him and the 2012 mp palm hits them in the air.

I think you can do this with the current mp palm too, it’s just a bit tight.

This is for super, not AE. And it is after an EX palm.

Hey all, Seth Killian just let it out that there are a bunch of stealth changes that weren’t in the change log…Hurray! Thoughts?

No thoughts, it’s usually nerfs or super minor buffs. Happens in every version. For AE, cl.st.mp to 65 dmg and reduced pushback on st.cl.hk were two hidden changes.

They fixed a lot of distance issues so characters an FADC without crossing under , I hope they fixed it with tatsu.

My thoughts are that they should stop being wankers and publicize the “stealth” changes too.

I don’t think it maters. You have people in the community who will scrutinize everything and find every change. Nothing is going to slip by.

It would be more helpful to see hitboxes then to have a 100% changelog.
