Wow, let’s see if I can undeadify this with a question.
How does T.Hawk - Balrog work? I’ve been struggling with a Balrog around here. I can’t punish his rush punches and I’m having a lot of trouble mounting an offense.
Hawk - Boxer is pretty even depending on style. Hawk has good buttons to battle him though we’re at a slight reach disadvantage. If he’s rush punching you from long range, you should stick a button out to hit him on the way in, preferably your heavies. If he’s doing it in close, then block and continue to press forward so you’re in a better position to deal with him.
Who would T Hawks unfavourable MU’s be in this version? And how does he specifically fair against Fei Long and Ken?
In my opinion most match ups are the same as v2012 albeit somewhat easier to manage overall.
Here are my personal worst:
Sagat, Juri, Gouken, Blanka, Poison, Akuma and Rose. Edit* forgot to mention Chun Li.
Since receiving buffs to his ex spire and mp tomahawk I can feel the respect once at last.
In my opinion Ken is disadvantage match up but not as bad as the other shoto characters as his fireball isn’t as good and he has lesser knockdowns.
Fei is slugfest as his normals are so good however is most reliable anti airs tend to hit at a shorter range so you sneak in a few empty jump typhoons to build a lead or catch up. Still bad but doesn’t come across as badly as the others I mentioned.
