Honestly is the gap between Rose normal grab and Guys u2 that big?..I mean assuming the leaked hitbox vid is correct …the gap is really small …
I doubt it would even be noticeable unlike something like Giefs grab range…
But anyway can someone confirm if theres a damage nerf on u2?.. would be stupid to just nerf the damage and not even give a range buff…
U1 being faster is also cool…houzanto->u1 would work on everyone without fadc…and CH Cr.HP->u1 might become really easy if its a couple of frames faster…

U2 I dont really care abt much as long as they din nerf the damage on it too much…I only use it in certain matchups…

Dude… it’s an early tier list… INCREDIBLY early tier list, so its possible for Guy to pull a C.Viper and definitely bump up to a solid B after some serious play. Guy got some great buffs which will probably change things around just remember everyone is playing who they played in Super aside from the Yun and Yang train and people switching their mains to other characters.
well everyone who has been playing guy in AE has been saying he’s about mid tier and all the top players in Japan agree as well.
Dont pay too much attention in that list… Those 3 only stated S ,A ,B tier they just put everyone else in C tier…if you would have noticed C tier is just arranged alphabetically…
Guy just hasnt been in the spotlight (He didnt have any GODlk player till now) …thats abt it…lol Guy and Chun are in the same tier , i would be happy with that…I srsly dont think Cammy is that good too , but they are proly putting her in B just coz of sako…
I think Guy is solid mid or mid high… hes definitely viable in tourneys i think …So thats good enough

Combofiend played Guy against Online Tony (kinda hectic) and Marn (almost won).
I just thought I’d mention that it seems like EX bushin kick doesn’t lose as easily to certain things anymore like it did in Super IV. I hate to be all vague but I was at Round one yesterday and there were a few times where Alex Valle used EX Bushin kick and I specifically felt like “that would have traded or lost in Super IV.” It seems better in the sense that now it looks like Guy’s head hits people too and it doesn’t have to be the legs that hit someone. Did anyone else notice this too? (Either that or the head has invincibility too)
Arrgg… I was really hoping guy’s changes would get me hyped to play AE but alas it just looks like to little… don’t get me wrong I love guy in ssf4… but watching evil ryu and oni go at it makes me wonder why they bothered improving him at all. The marginal improvements… well it’s suspect to guess if they would have brought him even with normal ryu/akuma… let alone the dark hadou madness.
Yay for the 1% of the time I’ll run into someone online that isn’t playing a shoto… (it used to be more like 5% and I had something to hope for at least.)
