Gen is top tier, NUFF said. Nerf that Old man, DElete him from the game. 
Itâs kind of funny because even though heâs so good in SFxT he hardly ever wants to throw Tiger shot, he mostly uses them just outside of footsie range.
I think a lot of SFIV players use Tiger shot as a crutch instead of exploring the rest of his game. Ryan Hart does well by taking calculated risks with him instead of just trying to zone.
Gachi - kun is a really entertaining Sagat to watch as well, heâs hella aggressive. Rushdown Sagat if there ever was one.

And pls note that Gen Ultra damage is at a low end of none utility ultra. So nerfing it is like removing it all together. Nerfing super will be like breaking his spine

The unfamilarity with Gen is indeed a huge factor still. Look at Tokido throwing air fireballs around like a big fool, Gamerbee doing obvious jaguar kicks while gen has super stocked, and these are the top players nontheless. Let alone the people who are on here. The big problem is that when people face Gen they never seem to have a strategy, most of the time they give me room to play my footsie game and respect that. What you need to do is get in as soon as possible and knock me down. You beat Gen by knocking him down.
Now truth be told a lot of Gens themselves also have no idea. How many times have you faced a Gen online thinking ââoh boy dis gun be gdââ only to meet with a clown Gen who keeps jumping in with crane j.mk and tries to launch you with random walldives and shit?
I never said I subscribed to that idea. Using one man and one video on the planet as reference for evidence is not accurate.

Ok my buffs for Gen, extend the hitbox of crLK crane. And increase the juggle height of super. If u r going to nerf ultra 1 at least buff the start up to 5 frames so I can have a TOLO ultra. Also make U2 mantis to caise 700 stun like balrog U2. And make Teiga have no height restriction
What about having flight in crane stance? I think he needs it to remain competitive
If his hands actually did damage so he had some kind of chip he wouldnât need to do floaty ambiguous cross ups so much to find damage against someone thatâs turtling.
A 5f Ultra that doesnât require charge and moves across the screen? Yeah, thatâs a great idea.
Just toying with a couple of ideas here guys, feedback pls:
- Every time Gen chances stance he gains 50% of a bar meter, this way he gets his super faster which in turn makes him stronger competitively.
- Crane stance now changes Gen into NiGHTS from the Sega Saturn classic NiGhTS into Dreams. He can only fly and in order to revert back to mantis stance he will have to get atleast a B ranking. This done by paralooping the opponent. Gen is already ¨pretty purple so the texture mapping should be ez.
Oh and I dunno bout, like, how legal this is but Sega sucks dick anyway these days so Iâm sure Capcom can buy that license cheap.
On a more serious note:
If his super into ultra gets nerfed, which will probably be in the damage department in all likeliness, I would like to see:
- More chipdamage with hands
- Slightly better start-up crane U1.
