Ever heard of this player before?
I wanted to play this guy a while ago since quite a few ppl told me about him, but 2 days ago that’s the first time I saw him hosting an endless lobby and he was really good.
Ended up losing 9-11, but learned some new stuff in this MU.

Uhhh… Stop doing Booms when your opponent is allready in the air?
S.mk is a good punish for Fei’s CW as a last min AA. If not you should lookout and bait for it at 3/4 screen and punish with G.hk/U2. CW shouldn’t be blocked when they’re attempting to use it against FBs no matter which character you’re using. Doing a normal that trades is better than blocking it.
Backfist isn’t worth throwing out recklessly. Time it so that they get hit just the moment they try to walk forward after a boom. Rekka can punish it on whiff easily or counterhit you when you trying to do another backfist. Fk punish for safety if you block 2nd rekka is better than trying to use normals . Just block it if you don’t have down charge as it’s always better to miss out on 100 dmg than to lose a lot of ground getting hit.
Another trick I use to whiff punish against Fei is to sit on down charge and do nothing. Walk back just a little before Fei walks in rekka range, then walk Guile back and you can whiff punish Fei’s rekka with s.hp. It’s just like whiff punishing Viper’s TK and ibuki’s slide except you have to walk back sooner.
I think you combo Guile’s ultra/EX boom with the boom at the end of last round. I’ve connect dash U1 in situations like this before.
I think you should tone down a little of the aggressiveness as Fei still has a SRK or mix it up with baiting and reacting as Guile isn’t really built for 50/50 offense. Unlike other characters, Guile’s offense can simply be stopped by a reversal. He shines when you play a good baiting and reacting game like Dieminion does.
Lol thanks. I did notice that. I fell into the bad habit of throwing too many booms. Although at times I was trying to time it so Sakura would land on the booms.

Can’t combo Guile’s 1 frame links on a consistent basis with delayed PSN con.
Almost impossible to do this especially with the PS3 pad.
Haven’t played on PC since 2 months because I am getting disconnects everytime when hosting a lobby.
The last time was 2 months ago 20 matches vs ErdemTEC when it was still fine on PC.
I can pull off most of Guile’s 1 frame links on a consistent basis of 40% online with good connection, with a bad con
10% = execution.
Weird. Was wondering what happened to you. Used to see you quite abit in the AE PC Lobbies.

Serious Guile from the Kuwait tourney this week. Definitely a strong Guile, though I’m surprised he let Jwong do tornados through his SB at the start of the round.

I think the number one problem I’m noticing is your mentality when you have the life lead. I still see you jumping in a lot when that’s a risk you really don’t need to be taking. I think when you have the life lead in this matchup you should be focusing on standing your ground with pokes and projectiles so you don’t get pushed into the corner, as well as focussing fireballs to build up U2. Having U2 stocked in this matchup is a really big deal, and if you have the life lead AND a U2 stocked up, it makes things very difficult for Sagat.
Also, don’t forget that f.mk goes over low tigers. It’s a nice footsie tool.
