Sorry I missed the tourney guys. I was on a trip and made it home a lot later than I thought I would. To add to that, for some reason I was thinking that the tourney was at 11pm Central all day, then thought about it and realized it was at 10pm. Sorry that I jacked up the brackets. Find it in your heart to forgive me titan.

Next in 2 1/2 to 3 weeks - September 24th or 28th are likely choices. Probably limit to 16 players to make it more manageable for me.
Even though there were a lot of no shows/forfeits, I think you handled it pretty well. It’s getting pretty big now just to limit it to 16 players. Perhaps if someone were to help you out, you would do just fine running 32 players.
Btw, grats to RenoMD! This tourney was definitely up in the air and there were no guarantees on who would be in the lucky 13 or top 8.

Titan, I would be willing to help you out somewhat in the next tourney. If we can get an IIRC chat going, that would be a huge help. My PS3 is down, as you know, so I won’t be able to actually play in the tourney, but if people were to be in an IIRC chat room, I could help out with the brackets…
Just a thought
So far I’ve just been trying different things out to know what works. I didn’t really find that using two text chat rooms on PSN was any easier than using IRC and one PSN text chat, and there clearly is an advantage to using IRC. I think you need to have PSN text chat since not everyone will be able to use IRC, but most can.
Help during the first couple rounds would be great, but even then it’s nice to have another set of eyes on things. I’ll let you know closer to tournament time.

Titan, is this tournament by invitation only? How can I join? I’ve played most of the players mentioned in the ranks but is not exposed to online tournaments that much.
No, I was actually playing COD 4. The thing just froze for about 5 seconds, then shut off, and beeped 3 times, and displayed the dreaded Yellow Light of Death. I tried to turn it on again, but it would just freeze after a few seconds/minutes.
I’ve heard that Batman is a pretty good game though, maybe I’ll give it a try once I get my PS3 back…

Actually, I think you beat me a few times as well. Yeah on scoreboard, I just recently started on friendly matches … better i guess coz no quitters and the ranking system still gives you a loss sometimes even when somebody quits on you.
