You are now on my friends list on both, and I agree with you pretty whole heartily. Thing is I am so much more comfortable on PS3 controller wise, I only go to Xbox last resort. The Xbox version is like 100 times more stable, it has the same problems as on PS3 but its rare, compared to common on PS3. I fucking hate it really badly. Capcom/Backbone really needs to do something on both systems, but at the VERY LEAST, get the PS3 more stable. It’s fucking P2P, fix the god damn matchmaking system.

i use to have a big problem, unplayable basically with a dsl connection so i got time warner road runner and i drop a match here and there but i haven’t really run into any problems

Yeah it sucks. If you get invited to a room to play with friends and then DC, you can’t even find the room again. Get used to sending hella invites and invite me/invite me back messages…

Yeah I hear the disconnects are much worse on PSN compared to Live, but between xbox and the ps3 I had to go with the ps3. Oh well. So yeah, send some invites if anyone wants to play.

Nah man, PSN is just shit. After playing you, I played a total of 0 matches out of about 8 attempts. It would always stop at the versus screen. Either it’d say that I was disconnected from PSN or that the opponent dropped. Up until now, I’ve only used XBL for HDR and I just used the PS3 version for offline casuals(I’m a Dual Shock pad warrior). Finally trying PSN, I really can tell the difference. I understand when a person says that it’s free, but I don’t pay for XBL anyways(I collect free trial cards from my Gamestop).

Yeah this is the only game on PS3 that gives me problems too, but it is pretty bad. I would be surprised, and severely annoyed, if it wasn’t patched eventually.

Tonight I think 70% of the time it fails to connect or won’t find a game, 15% of the time it fails before starting, 10% of the time it disconnects during the game, and 5% of the time I actually get to finish one best-2-out-of-3-rounds game without any network screwups. :mad:

I’m sick and fucking tired of it! I’m this close to moving off of this God-forsaken mountain and into town and buying a 360 that will probably red ring on me, hahah. Are there ports I should open or something?!!

Quit being such a ps3 fan. Xbox360 sold a bit of consoles in japan, yet again not enough to compete with ps3 you are right. However the game is not going to be sold in japan because capcom decided it won’t! don’t say I am on crack with a dildo up my ass (yes, that is such a sophisticated way of saying it) but go read some information and stop being such a whiney little bitch because the PS3 version IS MORE LAGGY than the Xbox360. Go look up vids and compare it to your game. I have with mine, theres no lag at round startup on xbox360 and disconnects seem much less frequent unless the player purposely disconnects. This is not the fault of the PS3 mind you, more of the fault of a crappy port made by a company with little to no experience with these consoles.

No not at all. You never started the hard facts. You result to spamming in ALL CAPS and talking as if you know what the fuck you are talking about. The only hard facts you stated:

1. PS3 has better dpad
2. Xbox 360 < PS3 sales in japan.

I’ve opened all PSN ports, SSFIITHDR is just laggy on the PSN system right now. It is not psn’s fault, more of the fault of the crappy network code port that they did.

WTF are you people actually serious ? it lags for you ??? are you running wireless or with shit net ? I have been disconnected some times and people leave also. But the game runs very smooth for me and i have hardly ever had any problems with the game a few glitches the first week end but since then nothing reall except for a random disconnect or 2 every few days.

Honestly i find it hard to believe all these comments i own both games and my friends alll have the psn version i have played it at their houses no problems there no problems at my house or when i face them online ? Maybe its your net ?
I am not hear to argue and i dont enjoy being called a bitch by some little ARK forum rat.

I just played against you and got disconnected after the 1st match , sorry if it was my connection I’v been getting disconnects at the begining of every single friendly match for the last 10 mins. Not sure what the hell is going on, didn’t have some many disconnects until now

You’re not alone. I have the exact same issues, and it’s becoming clear that the PS3 version was not beta tested much at all. We PS3 owners have gotten the short end of the stick. I don’t mind the glitches, except some (like the Scoreboard issues that freezes the console) should have been caught in testing. The glitches I could live with for a time, but the online experience has deteriorated to the point that I don’t want to even play the game anymore. If I wasn’t such a SF fan, I’d even ask for a refund.

If Capcom did not have the resources/time to make a proper PS3 port, then they should have focused on the X360 exclusively. I rather have one great product than two mediocre ones. Instead they released a highly unstable product for us PS3 owners. If I recall we spend money for this game just like the X360 owners have. Just because the X360 has a larger userbase is NOT an excuse to release such a subpar game.

The game plays just fine for me for the most part. Playing people you know have good connections helps. The only time I’ve lost connection waswhen some random laggy dude showed up in my room. With that being said, making private rooms and then inviting people yourself virtually elimates the problems for me. I haven’t seen a healthbar glitch or been dieconnected since.:tup:
