Has anyone’s matches online been fucking up lately? The past 3 days for me it has. I don’t know if it’s just me or the game

LOL, dude im really hopeless using Chun, i dont know how you guys use her so good. I think they need to release a patch to make Gief walk a lil faster, because you gotta be chasing this Little Chinese girl all around the stage and She is damn fast.
but im just wondering, whats the secret wapon the **Greench **has that i should know about?? anyways, Greench there is a New Gief’s Videos thread, just so you know, and you are free to post anything you might know about all the matches and stuff. :wgrin:

^^ There are at least 2 tricks he did on me that I can think of that you probably just didn’t get to but were super effective against me. He had me rethinking follwing a fireball with a low kick or super. Nasty stuff.
Actually I just thought of a third as well, it prevented me from doing head stomps, not the air SBK after a head stomp, but the head stomp itself. You got prety wise to the head stomp to air SBK escape, it became a coin toss of whether or not I was actually going to get away. The Greench matches eventually just turned into chess where you could tell both of us were really thinking 5 or 6 moves down the road. You are definitely good enough that our matches could have been that way as well, I just didn’t have my best game but I promise I will offer more of a challenge when next we throw down.
Man pro Gief’s are proving to be most difficult in this game. In the right hands he is super scary.
and also there are a few stuff i gotta work on too, cuz you got me a lot with the kikoken or whatever followed by the super, i already know that lariat dont work, so i migh try green hand the fireball next time, see im telling you so you can be ready next time. question tho. have you ever been SPDed out of Chun’s Special? i mean its a 1 frame grab.
and about the head stump thing, i got a few things that might hit chun out of the stump, i believe you can J. strong chuns jumps like you do to blanka, but after i figured it out, i wanted you to stump me, so i can get you with the j. Strong when you tried to do the Air SBK and as soon as we both land get you with crouched LK into SPD, (i did it a few times, but i missed it most of the times, its a new thing to me so, i gotta practice that) so why just get you with one hit, when i can gamble and get 2 hits plus an SPD. but good shit tho, keep the strats comming. :wgrin:

Anyways I just want to declare one last time in public that I hate E. Honda so very very…very very much =] Lololol. The only good thing about him is that he makes me RAAAGE so much that I go into Legend of the Holy Muthafucking Gief mode sometimes and just start getting as aggressive as I can, and hug the living shit out of anything in a 5 mile radius.

Yeah GGs really enjoyed those matches against both of you. I know that poking was irritating as hell, but it was the only thing I saw that was effective. I was pretty proud of myself though not because I won a couple, but that I didn’t change to Honda because I was losing. Also, don’t feel too bad about playing Shin’s Blanka only twice. At least you got to play his Blanka. I didn’t play his Blanka once with my Fei. I was really looking forward to playing Blanka too, but his Honda was just as difficult to beat for me. GGs too everyone I played tonight !
Seems like there’s a bunch of Chuns online, I think I may be retiring mine. I really can’t expect to compete against someone whose name is Chunbelievable, lol.
I don’t think we’ve played against each other Chunb, but that’s cause I detest Chun mirror matches.
Unless I think I can go toe-to-toe with the very best on here, I may just give her up.

But dude, why do you take so long to pick your character sometimes?!? I’m like “is he afk?” Do you wait until your opponent picks? What’s the point? Kyo45 does the same thing . Regardless the matches are always fun!
Great stuff with Honda Blitz. Oicho stopped my tick throws. =( I don’t think Dictator can do anything once Honda starts jumping on top of him with the belly flop. I tried to jump out of the tick to Oichi and I was still getting grabbed. Arrrrggghhhh good shit. I’ve been needing to work on that matchup so thx for sticking with him.
I had some great matches today with a brother named Sushi_Kid. He whupped my Ken with his Ryu pretty hard(9 matches to 5), but they were close, bloody, and fun as hell.

I wouldn’t say I “owned” anyone or anything tonight; it took a good number of matches to figure out how to stop your Dic. I got owned in many respects, but I was happy to learn some new Chun match-up techniques versus Dic and Blitz’s Honda.
And Blitz’s Honda ain’t no joke! He will headbutt the sh*t outta you! Darn good Claw, too. Y’all better have a good anti-air strategy!
Oh, we also played with TheGreench. I certainly didn’t stand a chance against his Gief, but I was able to get a FAB off to end the round! Hah. Good stuff.
By the way, Bronzefist, my girlfriend was re-arranging my room as I was playing and asking me questions every five minutes; that was the cause for the delay on the select screen most of the time. The other times, I really couldn’t figure out who to pick! I know my best chance to win is with Chun, but I’m tempted to play with other characters, even though I may lose.
Anyway, good games. We’ll do it again.

I started using my HRAP2 SA. Reversal DPs are kinda hard for me on stick.
I usually play with a pad though.

i just got done with a 2 and a half hour session with this really sick fei long player… i forget his name, because when i quit out, i was remembering “505000” so search for on my ‘players met’ list (alas…), so if you know who that is, tell him his fei is awesome.
hella fun… i was having too much fun. like… almost ‘forsake sleep’ fun. the lag was probably my fault, and without it he probably would’ve beat my ass… i’m sure fei v honda doesn’t get any better with random lag spikes.
but yeah, if thats you or you know who it is, i’ll see if i can get my connection up to speed and we should play again.
