I have to mix things up a little bit. You need to think about the various types of Cammy players out there. If I keep playing regularly I’m only going to beat in one play style in you. Plus, I need to start practicing your tricks for other people.

GG’s to you man. Your dictator is vicious and I think this is one of Cammy’s bad matchups. It looks like j.mp and c.mp stuffs scissors if timed right but your j.mp totally stuffs mine which ends up a 3 hit juggle and knockdown. Not the most favorable position I want to be in. Plus, scissors stuffs my hooligan wakeup setups. I really didn’t want to stay up late today bcs I have work tomorrow but it’s now almost 2am and I blame you bcs I couldn’t pass up on that experience with a good dictator. :arazz:

god axel kelly aka apollo from seattle has the best guile i’ve ever seen. I just did a background search and I see he places at the seattle tourneys. Currently number 8 on PSN. I’m currently like 110 or something just right above DSP LMAO.

And yes honda vs cammy is like 9-1, so bad for cammy if honda is somewhat competent.

Rofl, no kidding. Between Killey, Luigi-Bo and Azn_Skater, I think playing Dhalsim vs Cammy makes up for 1/2 of my ST and HD Remix experience. The worst part is, I’m still horrible at that matchup.

I am gonna ask other Claws if they ever got 360’d out of the roll. I NEED to know this like now. If it’s not possible I won’t attempt anymore Hey that combo you do, fierce roll, c.jab(?) xx jab roll is pretty sick. Almost block stun locks the whole time. I’m gonna use that when I play Claw. Also need to learn if any of Gief’s aerials > Claw’s flip kick. GOOD shit that night! Though I swear I can get more wins that I did that night, lol.

Poke his ass with s.RH, s.Forward, or c.Forward. If you have the distance of the cannon drills down pat then poke with those at the safest distance but don’t rely on them. Cammy gets stuffed if he gets the knockdown in since he can poke you out of most reversals you try to throw. Tried that with his gief before and ate SPD’s or another knockdown, which is the last thing you want happening. At the very least one SPD will put you at a distance to back off and try to reset the pacing to your favor. Hooligan’s worked for me against this match up but I think after the matches with me he’s starting to look out for that. Gief can lariat and can poke you out of a Hooligan. Personally, I think you need to poke and range him and get the knockdowns to set up your offensive tactics but the biggest issue is that Greench is so good at the SPD’s that he manages to SPD when you are poking at the safest distance with a s.RH or s.Forward after a knockdown. :looney: I need to play his Gief some more to get a better understanding of the Cammy/Gief match up.

Is it just me, or can you not combo into supers? I’ve linked stuff into supers before, but never say fp->super. What gives? I thoughg u could do that in OG ST.

You’ve never really been able to “combo” into supers in ST if I recall. Only links and that rekka canceling shit or whatever. I’m the wrong person to talk though 'cuz I never understood/was able to execute linking into supers on ST. This ain’t 3s or Cvs2 lol.

P.S. is so fucking hard to play SF when you have kids, they been pressing buttons and pulling your joystick and shit.

Honda was one of my worst nightmares in ST, and he still really is. I think it’s a really hard matchup for Gief, or at the very least one that you really have to make the right choices on.

It’s extremely hard to go offensive in this fight because Honda can basically out prioritize everything you do. If you jump in, you’ll either cleanly get hit by headbutt, or sometimes trade (Which isn’t generally in your favor). Very few things cleanly beat the handslap. The headbutt though is BY FAR the worst.

I was playing FlyMike, and all he did was keep me at bay with well timed headbutts. If I got in he’d ochio me, however if I time well I got some tick throws myself. But yeah, the HEADBUTT. You CAN counter with: c.jab, st.roundhouse, and SOMETIMES lariat (He’ll either hit you out cleanly, or you’ll hit him cleanly, not too reliable).

You have to bait the headbutt and roundhouse, it’s the best counter since it does the most damage vs the jab. But if you whiff a rh on a fake headbutt you’re in for a knockdown.

Tough fight, but play smart and you CAN win. OH yeah and green hand can beat headbutt I believe, but obviously has the worst recovery if you whiff. But yeah it’s doable, Prizm is a really good Honda and I beat him pretty evenly. I need a new strat though when I’m pounded with headbutt spam :shake: Just gotta watch for it I suppose.

And lol at all the talk/surprise about PS3 pad. I think it’s pretty funny that so many people are actually using it too…but more surprised that it’s working out okay!

I’M using a pad in case anyone was wondering But it’s only because I’m working on a current stick right now. Sold my old stick for extra holiday money, my gf likes jewelry :shake:

Oh my GOD are you kidding me? I have been waiting for this moment my ENTIRE life (Figuratively)!!! I play 3s a little, but I’m seriously no good at it. SRK members eat me for breakfast. I really do like it though. I also USED to play CVS2 a LOT, but that was waaaay before I figured out all the complicated advanced techs, and I got mauled so bad at my first CVS2 tourny when I was 16.

But now…NOW. Fuck NOW, ST, the SFII series I played sooo much at home and just loved to DEATH, and have had NO real competition because it is way to stiff/hardcore for my other friends (Only played newer fighters with me, CVS2, GGXX, Arcana Hearts, etc) and impossible to find in an arcade…IS HERE AND ONLINE!!!

My life was complete when I downloaded this game. Shit is amazing. Epic, best game I downloaded. Zangief is my homeboy.
