Fake fireball is the future, though.

Btw, if a Boxer player starts the round with low rush constantly, you can spam Dee Jay c.short and it stuffs free. You can also bait headbutt with fireball and s.roundhouse the shit out of Boxer.

I so didn’t know how to fight that match…that will help me out quite a bit! I really didn’t know Balrog could control the match defensively that well either. I always seem him controlling by rushdown.

Yeah, I mix it up with him at times. People have always told me that he’s not Honda and I’m like, “Well, I kinda don’t want to lose here, so yeah…”

He can rush uncontrollably, but it’s a lot of risk in it. So if someone starts reversing low rush clean or just baiting, Boxer will usually have to resort to kinda playing defensively and capitalizing on the mistakes. The rushdown aspect is really the mind fuck because now you really don’t know what to do and you start getting desperate and making tons of mistakes.

I always felt that my Boxer was meh, but my Claw is much much better since he’s my actual main.

I just need to learn more about using him.

Usually I land crossup combos but your ground game didn’t allow it. I still need to get his links down a little more I miss them on a occassion not too much though.

Well, I know better than to get near Gief at all in that fight, I almost gave you the match a few times with risks I took then I just fought to take control on the ground more and kept you out. I wanted you to get antsy and try to “fight” me when you played Gief --especially at that range it played to my favor.

You could’ve baited me in to thinking I was in range to smack you with Stand RH by doing Lariat just at the tip with your invulnerability and then SPD me and close in.

I think if anything though, learn both characters–it doesn’t hurt anyone to have an alternate for character matchups. Some characters have better matchups than others. Thanks for the compliments. I had plenty of people owning me pretty bad so it taught it a little bit, I guess.

Don’t say things like “Sorry, I’m not enough of a challenge”. Everybody is learning the game right now so you could end up finding some character I have issues with and own me. Its all about fun anyways.

The same feeling I gave you is the same feeling ShinBlanka gave to me hours ago to day, so I get how you feel but just keep playing–even though he raped my mind I still enjoyed playing.
