Ya funny thing is a couple of the crews were in a Vallejo tourney about two weeks ago. I know one other Vallejo crew but guess they didnt hear about it.
Anyways, it was a pretty good tournament with about 20-25 total competitors; thats with a tournament only advertised through word of mouth. Next tourney will definitely be fully advertised so hopefully we can get a good 32 man singles tournament or so. Next one could be within the 3-4 weeks so I’ll keep you shoryuken folk (ya i’m mostly smashboards) posted once its finalized.
If you want to check it out, the tourney had some camera guys there so here’s the finalized vids of the tournament:

The singles and teams finals are on the related links. Hope to see you guys at the next one.
ok…my overall perspective about brawl! it’s a great game and it’s very straight forward! nothin to fancy about, and i mean technicality wise! MELEE was more difficult in my opinion bcuz of all the crazy shit you could do with WAVE DASHING, SHINE WAVE, character specifics, and other stuff etc. … short jumping in MELEE was a bit harder and the short jump in BRAWL is just to easy! but that’s a good thing!..IKE is AWSOME(just throwing that out there)…overall brawl is an alright game! 7 or 8ish outta 10…if you agree with me, feel free to put your opinions in!
i just played every character, and played a few people and messed around as much as i can on how each character is unique! i’d like to hear other opinions tho! just in case there are other things to try out in that game!
