I agree. The language is confusing, but it’s the best 2 of out 3 sets, with each set being a FT2.

I personally prefer having best of three sets of FT2’s, if only for the sake of getting more matches in. It’s not very “tournamenty”, but it is nice to have longer sessions.
Um. Bo3 is the same as FT2.
Yeah, I know, I just didn’t want to say “FT2 sets of FT2s”. I mean, that’s the point where it starts getting a little confusing.
Actually, come to think of it, I think I might have confused myself a bit here. How do we do this again? Also, are we just doing a regular FT2 set for the upcoming tournaments?
For next weeks Tourney
For tournament weeks each division will hold their own separate “regional” tournament to decide who will go on to play in the league wide tournament. The top 4 players in each division qualify for the SRK league wide tournament, all to be played in Week 3 of each season.
All matches for the regional tournament must be completed by Friday, as the weekend will be when the league wide tournament will take place. I understand there will be scheduling conflicts with time zone differences, those involved as well as mods will do our best to accommodate all qualifiers, however if we cannot accommodate a time, or you simply just cannot make it for the tourney, your spot will be forfeited and the opponent will advance.
The tournament structure will be classic double elimination style, FT 2 set until winners finals, losers finals and grand finals. Those will be decided by a FT3. The player from losers bracket must reset the bracket to win the set. All tourney brackets will be linked and archived on this thread as well as posted in designated discord room once the new server is released. Please report matches as soon as they finish to a mod so that it can be recorded and the next match can be set up. Everyone will be seeded by points in the regional tourney, however seeding in the league wide tourney will be random. As in all 20 players will be randomly pitted against each other, region or points will not factor into match ups.
Please note that the timing for this is extremely fluid, we will do our best to accommodate everyone but there will simply be times when we cannot make our scheduled time and that is ok. We will do our best to make sure everyone can play but know with over 60 players that may simply not be possible every third week. Once all the regional tourneys up to the top 4 are completed the league wide bracket will be made.

We are playing a best of 3 of FT2 sets. So same as week one, this will be the format until further notice.
New Members****
There have been quite a few members sign up over the past week or so, We will add you to the roster, however you won’t be added to the regional tourney next week unless you had a match this week. Also players who no showed the first two weeks of the season will be dropped from their region tomorrow.
Once all brackets are made tomorrow they will be linked in this thread, please get your results to your mod if you have already played so they can tally your points for seeding.
The tournament matches have to be done by Friday? I’mma have to call up folk right away then. Get those early matches done as soon as possible.
EDIT: actually, that’s a point: @Plaid_Unicorn , for those of us who already have our brackets, do you want us to get the early matches done as soon as possible (possibly even today), or do you want us to wait until the brackets are posted here?

Yes actually, those with brackets already play whenever, I know getting all the matches together will be tough so as long as the data is available go right ahead.
