Excellent Job Sabez, reminded me of the official at the pools.
Thank you Sabez and Nemesys for hosting the tourney! It turned out great!
GG’s to everyone, especially to KillaKelly. The final matches was intense. Till next time…

TEAM ADDRESS FOR 2 VS 2 TOURNAMENT
Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great tournament yesterday. The Training Team would like to congratulate IDNMEI RokuBear- well played guys. Also, thanks to all players who participated.
ALSO… Just a friendly reminder than Nem is not the only one (nor the leader) who keeps this team alive. Nem is often the person most communicable with the players (with Sabez doing a gret job of backing-up the XBL front), but this is simply because illwill79 and myself are constantly doing work behind the scenes for the benefit of the players. In all ways, the Training Team is joint, equal, and united between DarthPaul1982, illwill79 and Nemesys_Syndrome. On behalf of the team, I would like to thank Sabez for runing the bracket and doing a great job. Also, if everyone could please also show appreciation to the moderators. who do a fantastic job day-in and day-out of making sure the team runs smoothly, that would be great.
Thank you, and we shall look forward to seeing you at the next tournament! (as well as in the chat room every day until then… obviously
The Team.
What was the limit for XBL friends?
good job guys thanks for providing us with an organized resource to level up with.
Yeah mad respect to Nem, Sabez, DarthPaul, and Ill (didn’t know you two were helpin behind the scenes!)
You guys ran a really thorough and fun tournament.
It’s great to see new faces joining the competition too! Congratz to Rokubear on defeating one of the toughest guys on SRK training team (Killakelly).
Finally getting an understanding on how the query /chat system works, it was much smoother for me. Good games to all the guys i faced, i need me some experience against these rare bunch (Dhalsim, Seth).
Let’s get another tournament going soon! Sundays are great days and that time seems to work well for most people.
Thanks again, Training Team!!! You guys rock!:rock::rock::rock:

What I Need to Practice: Execution, footsies, a couple different match ups.
Session with Ruskor:
Solid Boxer player. Pretty good with the headbutt into ultra and the dash punch into super. Despite the fact you’re in Germany, we had a pretty solid connection, there were maybe 3 or 4 instances of noticeable lag during our 20 matches.
A couple of things I tried to take advantage of were your random headbutts. Worked out pretty well as they caught me by surprise, but after a while I tried to bait them out and punish, I would save the headbutts for anti air and and combos. One habit you would want to break are the random normals you threw out outside of range, I found a couple occasions where it was easy to hit you with a move with longer reach. Read up on what pokes and normals are good and utilize them at the right ranges, as opposed to mashing them outside of Rog’s reach (this is something i’m still trying to fine tune myself.)
Also, clp is one of Rog’s best normals as it leads into headbutt (clp, clp, clk > Headbutt > Ultra I believe) really practice and utilize that, you would land clp, but just keep hitting it with no follow up. Another thing, Balrog’s dashing overhead punch, many times you’d land it, but go for cRH (which only hit a fraction of the time) what you really want to do after that move is clk, headbutt, ultra. Also, mix in some throws every now and again. I didn’t feel threatened in the corner because all I needed to do was block low, and watch for the overheads. If you mix in the grabs, it becomes alot harder to stay safe in the corner.
Otherwise, great matches man! I had alot of fun, I look forward to our rematch.

@Oni_Ryu
Yea our matches were fun, i really hope to get some more with you.
I was really suprised your combos and execution was amazing really, and your cross-ups and FADC Throw/ultras really hurt. most of the time i was tryin to counter the cross-ups/jump-ins with cr.f/headbutt but most of the time i was to slow like the tech throws thats a real weakness of mine. about the basic combos that’s my problem in execution there i spent everyday now 1-2hours in training mode to get the timing for clp clp clp clk > headbutt/dash punches or just a simple clp clk > headbutt ultra sometimes it works really well but in the heat of battle i mash to much.
and i always try to land headbutt > ultra in most situation were a simple combo could get me a win instead i headtbutt and get punished.
Your Ryu is really strong no question. the mixups and execution is really good.
Chun is totaly new for me never met a good one online yet.
rose is i don’t know i think i did good :P.
about the lag i think one time it was my antivir update but it was good overall i guess.
