Thanks sabez. Also, thanks for having the tournament. It ran super smooth and didnt take very long. The 2 out of 3 sets were perfect and just like in a real tourney. Then for finals obviously a longer set. I really liked that format. I know for me playing the first to 5 stuff like in the past, i would pick other characters and see how i did with them and then if i couldnt hack it, i would change to my main. Also, with that it allowed for me and most likely others to feel out their opponent if they have not played them before. Doing it this way eliminates that and makes sure everyone is playing hard from the get go which is great, especially for me cause then the pressure is on and thats one of my biggest problems i need to overcome. Pressure and nerves just destroy my game and i was feeling it during the tourney and i think i handled it fairly well.

Zero, nice sim dude, very elusive and highly annoying, but annoying in a good way. Just dont get caught up in predictable patterns. You had 2 distinct patters you did, one of which i blasted you for being predictable with it and the other i just kept forgetting to punish. Like where you do IAT behind me do fp, land s.mk then flame regardless if the fp hit or not. You kept doing it and one of those times i was holding up i guess, and i noticed that the flame didnt connect after the blocked s.mk, which told me it wasnt safe. The very next time you did it and i noticed i blocked the s.mk i went for ultra but executed wrong and got something else that you beat out. then the next time bam i tagged you with ultra. But smart on your part, you didnt do it again when i had ultra, and actually you did s.mk and paused which i think i buffered my ultra but didnt hit the buttons looking to see if i would do it again. The other was when you would do teleport and then air far fierce then lend and standing mk or lk? combos for 2 hits, but when i would block the fp you still went for the standing kick. I just kept forgetting to counter that. Other than those 2 things i cant see anything that i noticed that wasnt good for you to be doing. fun games, i dont get to play good sims very often, cept for Fchamp and its been a while since we played. hope to play you again sometime, ive got alts that need sim practice badly.

As you can see I still have a lot to learn with Dhalsim. Learning each match up is difficult but I’ll eventually get there. Thanks for the tips! It helps playing good players like yourself since I can learn so many things.

Sorry about last week, mother had an asthma attack, so I had to step out. One thing I’ve realized is that I need more practice against REAL PEOPLE. I have next to no matchup knowledge because I rarely get out to play people in order to learn, so if you see me online then hit me up. I’ll almost always be in Training Mode.

For a lot of you, I know it’s not productive to play a noob often, but I’m serious about improving my game, so whenever you are “in between” serious matches and have time to help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.
