Tanex, ggs…Dictator was a tough matchup until I started to see where the move were coming from. Don’t know enough to give specific critique, but I noticed a few things…
Tighter execution on block string is required…often it let me in some matches you had won.
You have Dictator, therefore it is a MUST that he has a strong ground game.
Became predictable in the air, even after I started to stop Head Stomp…he has Devil Reverse…use it to mix things up.
Most importantly, st mk and st hk own HARD…some of the best normals in the game…use those more often

Alright man, We only played like 10 games or so, so i can’t tell you much.
I would say work on your BnB’s just the basic ones for now. It’s good you were using C. MK xx Hado a lot also but you have to know the spacing so yeah if you haven’t watched the videos for the different zones, i would suggest you to go watch it so you could work on all your different zone ranges cause after seeing you do so much c.mk, It always left you open for a jump in. You did catch me a couple of times with a LP DP but messed up on using your ultra so work on that also, you need to hit as hard as you can with w/e you have every time you get the chance like when i miss my Flash Kick BnB, You could of easily done some major damage. It’s probably a good idea to try not to do anything psychic especially those Random Tatsu’s you were doing lol i know its good shit when it hits but after i figured you were just doing psychic tatsu’s i started to bait em and get some free hits on you.
Also work on your Anti Air because i didn’t feel any pressure at all from jumping in on you which isn’t a good idea to let an opponent jump in on you especially with Ryu’s awesome Dragon Punch. Try not to sweep so much cause that leaves Ryu at a disadvantage if your spacing is wrong. Hes left wide open as you can see that i was able to Flash Kick you after blocking the sweep. But overall you got the basic of Ryu down at least. You did pretty good for only playing for 3 months. It’s just going to take some or a lot of training/exp to master or get use to Ryu’s Zoning especially his Fireball zoning. Find that one spot so that your opponent can’t easily do a jump in on you when you do your fireballs so you don’t eat a free combo.
I would highly recommend you to watch the Ryu’ Video Tutorials Mickey made and work on those in training room as much as you can.
Once we get more games in, I could probably tell you more but this is it for now.
sup pachi, yeah it happened last month. I have nothing to do with my time now that the fall semester is over and I’m dieeeiiinnnnngggg, I want to play so bad. It’s cool though, I have a lot of matches lined up so I should be in top form rather quickly. How’s everything with you ?
Took a break from SF for a good 5 weeks, and just started playing again earlier this week. I main Rose, and am looking for some practice later today. I’m in Upstate NY, and will probably be logging on after I put my kids to bed around 9pm ET.
Preference for people maining less frequently seen characters like Gen, Gouken, 'Sim, but I’ll play anyone. I feel like the time off hasn’t had much of a negative effect on my Rose. I added some people here shortly before I took a break. If you see me online, please feel free to send me an invite. If I don’t respond I might have stepped away from my 360, or I’m already in the middle of a match against someone.

I will randomize your place on the bracket, but will try to look out for previous winners and try to seed them.
The tournament date will be this Saturday the 2nd starting at 4pm EST. (This may change, but sign up considering this date)
You’ll have 10 minute buffer time after your scheduled time to play; afterwards you get a forfeit loss and fall to lower bracket.
