Pretty much you did everything to keep me back, i couldn’t get in normally and i wasn’t really thinking smart but from the pokes to chaging the pace of the game you dominated. The whole match i thought i could make the match go at my pace but it didnt seem that way and you did perfect not letting me rush. Other than that, you won i got frustrated for not taking my time to change my gameplay lol. gg man
If you never posted your info in the format as stated in the OP, I’m not counting your points. There has been a few people who have left feedback but never properly filled out their info so I can’t add you to the list yet.
Please do so or let me know if I just missed it. Give me the post # and I’ll go back and take care of it.
Tournament brackets will be updated in a few minutes.
gg’s to both eyelovesf4 and sabez both of you had really solid ryu’s eye seemed to be a little more aggressive then sabez both of you seemed to let me jump in more then i thought i should but gg’s was fun hope to play yall again i need more ryu practice
not to take anything away from you beating me alot… but i tried to teleport many times and they didnt come out…2 bars wasnt helping my execution at all besides that GGs, oh and next time I’ll have the game set on 2 rounds instead of 3 to win.
you played very well with the ex punches when i had you in the corner although i was using light attacks to try to stop the stop your punches idk if it was connection or if you just cant do that against rog when he is pinned(you telll me).
you definitely did a good job of getting me block low and coming with overhead punch. even after i got used to it which was pretty fast I still had a very hard time blocking it(once again im pretty sure that was connection, there were many times i know i stood up and still got hit).Your combos seem to be very solid overall. GGs
i thought of something that might help you fight Dictator a little better Juicy…and that is stay on the ground more with akuma while you are fighting unless you have meter for ex fireballs… or roleback and throw the straitdown fireball even if Dictator is not close to build meter. It seems that almost every ex fireball when thrown at the right distance can lead to good damage for you…um here is a vid that im sure you have seen and also from fighting you i know it will work good for you.

A few things. Nice use of j.mp. You hit me with it in the air into ultra at least once. Also, you hit me out of a lp dp with it. You apply good pressure in the corner. Also, your relatively frequent use of cross-up j.mk into throw worked pretty well on me (a better player may be able to tech out of them, however). I think you jumped in at me too often. I was able to lp dp into ultra at least 3 times and missed a couple of chances in addition. Also, you tend to dp on wake up too often. It got me quite a bit in the first few matches, but toward the end they cost you quite a bit of health and several rounds. ggs–let me know when you’re up for more.
Tournament 2 Loser’s Bracket
The Brown 0ne vs reelsmartkid (5-2 The Brown 0ne)
Blanka/Ryu/Chun-Li vs Balrog/Rufus
vs Balrog
When given the chance, your execution with combos was really good. However, I think you need to work on AA (cr.HP). I felt safe jumping in on your boxer, when usually I get stuffed. Against Blanka, you weren’t punishing my balls (on hit or block you can punish with a light dash punch) except maybe once. When I used Ryu, I felt safe just throwing out hadoukens; I think you should use your turn punch to kind of make me think twice about throwing them.
You got too aggressive when I used Chun-Li and were jumping in too much; you should have more patience because I was able to punish you a lot.
vs Rufus
I only played your Rufus once, but I saw that your mixup was pretty good with Rufus. I was using Chun-Li and I had nothing really to stop those dive kicks, which you used to your advantage and mixing it up with throws and combos afterwards.
Good zoning made me work hard to get in and when i did was quick to roll back and reset which frustrated me.
zoning ryu’s give me the most trouble of any character in the game so if anyone has any tips on how to get in and keep a zoning ryu close and on the ground.
I got hit by so many neutral jumps cause of no good AA from bison and I couldn’t keep you pinned because of srk
I played ShadowBigBoss for a small tourney held at another site that was set up by him.
vs. E.Honda
You have a good Honda. It is definitely your best character, IMO. I think you should use Sumo Smash, especially the EX version, much more often. You should also try to incorporate the EX Sumo Headbutt as a viable anti-air. Continue to work on his BnB’s and create scenarios and mindgames to use Ocho Throw more. I think you know that random Ultra at the end of Round 2 was a big no-no. With Sumo Smash and Sumo Headbutt at your disposable, no one should ever cross you up as a Honda player.
PROS:
Understands the matchup
Good execution
CONS:
Incorporate more Sumo Smashes
EX Sumo Headbutt for anti-air
Need to use Ocho Throw more
Random Ultra
vs. M.Bison
Your Bison needs some work but what I do know is that you’ve improved with him since this match. Don’t throw out too many Head Presses when your opponent is standing because a quick dash leaves you wide open. Work on some of his BnB combos especially the simple one like c.lk into Knee Press. When you’re in the corner, Bison has many tools to escape including Psycho Crusher or you can just warp. During our match in the second round you just got pressured in the corner and you could have escaped at any time doing the above.
PROS:
Understands the matchup
Has improved since
CONS:
Practice his BnB’s more
Use Psycho Crusher or Warp to get out of trouble
Cross-up game
Try to anticipate throws and tech them more often
Work on ways to land Ultra through Focus Attacks or Hell Attacks
You need to pick up on Bison’s normals. Try whoring out some more Standing :mk: and :hk: One is a great AA and also stops most from jumping and the other is a nice counter poke.
Pick up on your Bnb’s, quite a few times you let me get away with little to no damage from a punishment. While that’s great for me you on the other hand need to make sure you squeeze everyone ounce of damage from it.
If your in trouble (Say locked in a corner) feel free to try and teleport out. It might get you punished if they see it coming but on the other hand it could very well let you escape.
Get more friendly with Bison’s Air to Air game, he’s really fierce when it comes down to A-A combat. You can also link into Ultra is you Yomi someone jumping in.
After a knock down start crossing people up. A nice deep cross-up with bison will not only make them guess what direction to block in but can also deal a metric ass ton of damage.
Try Fadc’ing your scissor kicks into throw mix-ups. You’ll get another knock down and get more mix-up opportunities from it.
Try not to Devil-Reverse so much, it’s good to build meter but against someone who knows about it will only be bad if they can punish.
Work on your tech-throwing. (I’m guilty of this as well) After you threw me 4 or 5 times I started doing it back and you had quite a bit of trouble against it.
Try not to blow your ultra right away, a Bison with Ultra stops almost everyone from jumping in due to his ability to punish with an Ultra.
Be more patient!!! As hard as it is for you to attack me is as hard as it is for me to attack you.
Nice zoning, mix-ups, and AA. It was difficult to stay near you. A couple of points: 1 - you whiffed many dps, which I only inconsistently punished; and 2 - you jumped in a lot. It worked ok against me, but players w/ better AA would’ve punished a lot more. Your execution was good, but you missed a couple of ultra chances after FADCs. I’m looking forward to playing you again soon.
Tournament 2 Loser’s Bracket
The Brown 0ne vs reelsmartkid (5-2 The Brown 0ne)
ggs man. you really outplayed me. i know how bad the blanka balrog matchup is but idk for some reason i was just getting torn up so gs on that. your ryu was pretty solid good AA game. you messed up a couple combos so i guess work on that. your chun li was really solid. i just got to impatient with balrog. but other than that really ggs.

-use alot more fireballs to keep me were u want me, i walked right up to u alot of the time
-abit of matchup know how is needed i used chun’s cross up kick way more than id normally do because i cud tell u ahd trouble blocking it, also alot of ultra go threw fireballs so u need to rember that
-raging demon sud only be used as a counter when somebody makes mistakes its very eays to avoid
being ryu and akuma people sud never be able to jump in on u so if that happens light srk is your best option then u can follow up with a ex fireball or ultra if u have it
-try and bait wake up moves more i got u way to many times with wake up spk
I know how to BnB with Bison but I do FEAR Ryu, man. Against jumping in or cross-up, your dragon punch is killing me. DP changed my gameplan and trying to poke at you more often and small BnB like MK, Scissor HK. I know Being Honda is not fear Ryu and can jump in front of you or cross-up. Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about EX PC to escape from ryu at the corner. I am trying to remember that. I knew Bison has excellent tick-throw but with me, he sucks or anyone needs to give me some advice. Bison has excellent anti-air move which was ultra but its not working when ryu jumps in front of me even thought he did kick me while I ultraed him. GUess what? He blocked it which BS. Dont tell me its mistiming.
Anyone can teach me how to use FA when its right time and right place. What is a Hell attack? Since I bought Sf4 at launch day, I rarely using FA with Honda and Bison.
Oh, okay. I played a guy right before you that played ryu and sakura.
Shirase Akira
You did a good job baiting reversal dp’s. Somehow I forgot that I could backdash out when you’re revving up that focus attack. I think you missed a couple chances to ultra after dp which lost you a few rounds. You can dp my cross up attempts. Somehow I was never able to cross up into dp. I tried a few times to cross up and then dp when you tried to throw tech but you blocked it every time.
Reelsmartkid
Excellent Rufus. You could probably tell I didn’t know the match-up that well, but got a little more comfortable as the games progressed. Lots of good dive kick mix-ups. Somehow I wasn’t able to dp the cross up dive kicks, I don’t know if it’s cause I suck on arcade stick or if cross up dive kick stuffs dp. A few times you did like 4 snake strikes in a row, i’m assuming as either a taunt because I suck or to build meter or both, maybe not the greatest idea with a better player. You did tons of ex jesus kicks on wakeup, which got me almost every time, but it’s maybe not that great an idea to do that a lot. One time I punished with cr. mk into tatsu, which is pretty damaging. I don’t know about frame data or whatever, but if that’s a viable punish then ryu could cr. mk into ex tatsu which hits really hard and could potential combo into ultra if near the corner.
vs. Skemar007
You have a very good Balrog, but I noticed that there were moment where you should have Buffalo Headbutt’d me when you didn’t like during my crossups with my Dash attacks. However, you did keep me guessing when you had me in a block string.
You’re Ryu was good too. I cannot think much of to say since you seem to have the basics like his Ultra setup down.
