rook: gotta agree that this is one of the sweeter pieces you’ve done. the style looks a bit different though; slight Madureira influence?
anywho… i did a quick Mike for the thread;
I don’t think so… I don’t read enough comics these days (just the SF comic) to be influenced by a single person’s style, least of all Joe Mad’s. My style evolves all the time, esp since I haven’t drawn seriously in a bit. Lately, I have been trying to draw more cleanly though.
I tried something different, and kept all the shading lines more or less in the direction of Lee’s thrust. Felt weird when I was doing it, still dunno if it works better than if I had shaded it properly. Might dabble with this a bit, won’t know if I don’t experiment…

Looks like times up fellas. Great entries across the board I’m gonna start making a thread with what we have here and make a poll out of it. It’s Sunday here in New Zealand and I’ll put the thread up on my Monday since most of you guys are still in Saturday at the moment.
Glass: Really nice work man, If you want to be part of the voting deal, just put up the pencils/inks of the piece you just drew.
