The only MvC3 alumni that made the cut are Doom, Wolverine, Wesker, and Ammy. The MvC2 vets who missed 3 are Rogue, CapCom, Jill, Jin, and B.B. Hood. The rest are all new. I think it’s funny that Wolverine and Rogue are the only X-Men to make the list.[/details]

Now that voting is closed, that’s fine with me :slight_smile:

On that, I think most people refrained from voting for any X-men because of the whole Fox / Marvel thing… And even if X-Men ever show up as dlc, we all know Wolverine and Magneto are a given.
The Marvel side features some long requested characters like Blade, Daredevil and Loki (with the last I’m actually surprised he wasn’t a part of this game considering his stron MCU presence)

On the Capcom side, I’m just glad Wesker made the cut, I’m also pleased to see that Jill is still so popular.
Gill is most likely on there because he was almost a part of UMVC3.
It’s kinda funny to see that on other sites Leon Kennedy is very popular but here on SRK he has less fans (it’s hard to differentiate him from Chris anyway)

SRK, especially this section, is made up of people who still played despite no X-Men. That may skew the results vs a more public poll.

Agree Loki would have been better maintream Mag tentative substitute. His a well accepted character not just in movie, even girls love his movie counterpart.

Got 3 characters in - Green Goblin, Wolverine and Wesker - so that’s cool. 4 if you count Jill, even though I voted for the RE5 version. I prefer her Revelations and S.T.A.R.S. within Resident Evil overall, but when I thought about MvC I, to me the RE5 version from MvC 3 and UMvC 3 would bring more to the game. Hard for me to see what the S.T.A.R.S. version will deliver that Chris or Frank West can’t already do. Well hey Capcom is usually pretty good with coming up with new stuff so if S.T.A.R.S. Jill returns who knows.

I almost voted for Jin Saotome but when I remembered the entire game was in English, even in Japan I was worried about not hearing Yuji Ueda (favorite voice actor, voices Sagara Sanosuke the guy in my avatar) reprise the role and him being replaced by someone who sounds like Michael J. Fox ACK! If he does come back they better find someone really good to voice him or else! Or else nothing, but still. :lol:
