@LordWilliam1234 - There is only one thing to make sure you do in these games. Whatever you do, do not edit a post. This is something vets even have a hard time remembering, and new players are the most susceptible. Mafia threads are the only places where double posting is not frowned upon.
What if you edit and then leave a note about what you edited? I occasionally edit just to correct an annoying spelling error I glanced over. Though I might ultimately decide on letting said errors slide during the game thread.
People live in a giant circular fortress-esque city. Giant motherfucking naked people that kinda look like humans without genitalia try to invade the city every once in awhile. They eat humans. As it turns out they dont actually use the humans as any kind of sustenance and vomit them up later. They do it for fun. There is a slightly unexplored type of human/titan hybrid that can trigger a titan evolution with training or certain emotional responses. Currently only two known hybrids exist in the series universe. One of them is on the side of the titans and a traitor. That is who the dormant civs are. Humans with the ability to become titans but they dont know about it. Said hybrids can also become human again after so long.
EDIT: There is also a military organization to fight them off. There is a ssection of that who goes outside of the city to kill and learn more about titans. That is the expedition team. Expeditions are mostly glorified suicide runs in the name of science resulting in dozens of casualties. There has not been an expedition where somebody didnt die.
ONE MORE ONCE: Btw the Titans are mafia. The expedition team are civs.
Humans aren’t at the top of the food chain anymore, humanoid Titan-esque creatures are. Homo-sapiens is almost completely wiped out except for a few pieces of land protected by giant stone walls. The humanoid Titans come in a few different “classes”, but the most dangerous of the bunch are hybrid titans. They have the most intelligence, are the fastest and have the most strength out of all types of Titans. On top of that “hybrid” Titans are actually human beings who can transform into Titans.
Humankind have have a few military units that help protect the general public (and the Royal family) from Titan assaults:
The survey corps go outside the walls to see if they can find any signs of life outside of the walls and try to see what areas are “safe”. Survey corps also bring back titan specimens so that scientists can figure out the Titans compositions.
The Garrison guards the walls. They fight against Titans who try to breach the walls that the land is protected by.
Last is Military Police. Who don’t do shit. Really, they don’t do anything.
That’s pretty much the gist of Attack on Titan without going into specifics. *
