Day & Night 1 Conclusions:

DarkGeneral is likely clean. He was the last vote on Blindknagg, minutes before deadline, and ended up saving Combo’s life. There’s very little reason for Mafia to risk last minute tying the vote like that for a civilian. Counterpoint is that nobody knew that D hadn’t submitted his vote, so DarkGeneral’s vote shouldn’t have tied. However, Jason’s post count missed D’s vote, and ironically ended up being accurate, so if DarkGeneral was going off of Jason’s tally then he knew his vote would tie. If he was counting himself, he would’ve come to the conclusion that his vote wouldn’t tie. He later said that he wasn’t keeping track of vote totals, hence why he asked Skizzz to keep the tally. If he was Mafia then he would know that D failed to submit his vote correctly, and would likely have an accurate tally aside from that, so he would still knowingly be tying the vote which is extremely unlikely mafia behavior for a civilian. It makes enough sense to ignore him as a suspect for the foreseeable future regardless.

I deleted it because I dont even want to fucking read it. I never role claimed. I put out “You dont want to lynch me” as a bluff when OZ started talking about it to avoid a possible bandwagon to make people think I’m either a role(to rethink a lynch on me), mafia trying to be tricky with double guessing, or somebody just bluffing to save his ass. It wasnt a roleclaim. It was a gamble. Tbh i jumped the gun a bit when OZ had literally no support.

Even if I wasnt a role I still wouldve seen Expeditions as a viable strategy as I do now. Because the majority of power roles are exclusive to said action. Our town power roles only investigated and stopped a steamroller from coming through. Investigator didnt get anything useful and the other was good until he died. We had nothing to help us pick out mafia. We didnt have a vigi. We tryed to do this shit with blind luck and look how that shit turned out. Mislynches abound and we so happened to hit a mafia with one of them, and the other after we lynched Hannes and fucked everything over.

But Im over it now. I look forward to the next Arena because theres a 90% chance im not doing this bullshit again. You guys can have fun with your same pool of 10 players because I sure as hell aint sticking around as a new addition to the mafia roster.

*1st paragraph: Interesting take on saying “you don’t want to lynch me”. But is it really a bluff when you’re indeed roled? You’re not exactly playing with house money at that point.

2nd paragraph: I agree with what you said. If expedition during day 1/2 seemed like it was going to get traction I was thinking about sending in Armored Titan the night before so we Titans could get another action during the phase. We’d be able to either investigate 2 groups of people or kill 1 group and investigate another. But what I really hoped would happen was that we’d go through as little expeditions as possible. Which meant neutralizing Aces.

By the way, are you a Feng Sui or U2 Juri player? I always got the impression you used U2 for some reason. *

I didnt telegraph shit. I’m new and a had a ton of questions about how shit worked. He interpreted my desire for knowledge as me having a role. It just so happens that I did. If I was roleless I still wouldve had all the same questions because nothing I brought up included anything I knew about Mikasa as a role. I was asking questions about elements that were public knowledge. My questions about role behavior? An actual question I had. I was so busy trying to hunt down mafia from the people who were posting that I hadnt even considered role hunting. I didnt know that was a thing people did. I wasnt asking so I could go “oh shit better not act like that!”

If he killed me off of that and I actually wasnt a role he wouldve looked like the biggest fucking retard. He connected dots that were barely there in the first place and he so happened to hit a role too. I mean what kind of logic is that? “The guy whos never played before is asking how the game works. He is a role for sure 100% guaranteed better kill him.”. I could see on like Night 2 or something if I fucked up but killing me off questions I had? It’s whatever.

Civs being shit doesn’t detract from the mafia’s superiority. It just proves that either we need harsher penalties or that we need to stop playing mafia on SRK.

I was 100% serious when I suggested walking away from SRK altogether and playing on a different site.

I was a little disappointed that I read all of Fuzz’s ‘Fuck you’s’ and only got one mention.

TGG: I’ve made flimsier correct reads than others made this game, and been right. I’ve also made bad plays on letting some things leak subconsciously. Tighten up.
