There was no waiting for someone to give a tell, fake or otherwise followed almost immediately by trying to start a bandwagon on nupo, which seemed to work last aborted game. Even PW votes had more ground than that.
It’s easy to assume that there was going to be a PW bandwagon. No votes actually helped us last phase; Cynt never showed any indication of wanting to lynch Pimp, plus he should know Pimp better imo. Looks like an easy bandwagon vote gone wrong.

It may have been a while, but I don’t recall Willy both claiming and reaffirming his alignment before as if he accepted his fate, which apparently could’ve been avoided had the other half of the players actually played. I had figured that more people were like me in that they at least put in the votes. Didn’t expect a US election voter turnout. :bluu:

Why exactly was PW lynched? He was obviously joking about being mafia leader (Those of us who were mafia last game would have known off the bat and could have at least confirmed that he was lying. Those of you who weren’t mafia didn’t even entertain the possibility of him lying, which makes me more wary of those who weren’t mafia last game who jumped to lynch PW).
I don’t see how him calling mafia would be role hunting. It was D1 so no checks had been made yet (so the only roles that could have revealed themselves would be a mafia member saying, “You’re not mafia!”)
And if he wanted out of the game why wouldn’t he just have asked to be out of the game? It was a restart.
This makes no sense to me either. Why not just say “no lynch”? Idk, something about Chadouken is weird to me.
And the last thing is the MP night kill. I don’t feel like it’s mafia going for vets, but mafia trying to take out the influencers. MP talked a lot last game (This game not as much though), so that could have left an influence on them.
What Nupo said about Co-Jones makes sense. “Is he role-hunting?” is a pretty bad question - because it doesn’t look like role hunting at all. Co-Jones with a fake looking argument for his PW vote looks bad.
OZ has probably played the most games out of anyone here, sadly. So he’s experienced to know the odds of just being a regular goon, so that scenario is unlikely.
I didn’t realize that was an option. Look, I know the whole newbie excuse is getting old, but I honestly didn’t know you could say no lynch. Seems like the exact same as not voting at all.
The only problm with no lynch is that at least on SRK is highly frowned.
The reasoning is that you are denying the civs the only tool to get information and get rid of the mafia.
Yeah, my bad. I missed the vote because of work. I’m good to go this phase tho. Can’t really expect me to vote when I work 4-12 most nights and my managers watch me like a hawk to see if I’m on my phone.
EVEN IF WE WERE TO ASSUME THAT SOMEONE DIDN’T KNOW THAT PIMP WAS A KNOWN TROLL FOR THIS SORT OF THING (i.e. someone that hadn’t played as many games as you), there were still enough LOL reactions on the post itself to give you a hint. You even posted a couple of hours after he did and didn’t question it at all. No mention of it whatsoever until after voting. IF THAT WASN’T ENOUGH, we had several posts showing that it’s normal behaviour for him (all from DG apparently, but there’s still extensive work here that should’ve triggered doubt).
So in conclusion, that’s why you should’ve known better.

THIS is what made me believe it. This post sounds like he was annoyed that he was getting lynched and gave in.
I could see where this would make you think he was just annoyed since the restart and gave into getting lynched.
But it was pretty hard to draw conclusions on day one just due to the inactivity. I’m party to blame for this so no excuses but its still so hard to get a read and the game seems to be pretty slow thus far.
