Im going to vote for 3SL, I was just holding vote to make sure I didn’t have to use it to tiebreak if it came down to that or some goofy shit like that.
*So right now it’s between AC and 3s realistically. I’m honestly split between voting for 3s and AC. On one hand AC was high on my list to start the game but since then others have passed him. On top of that he’s shown himself to be a valuable asset as civ.
3s hasn’t really rung many alarms, but a little bit of suspicion is coming from his direction.
As far as the Duke situation are we just going to let his mafia claim pass us by since he probably will be gone within the next couple of phases due to real life issues?*
I mean, it’s obvious he’s desperate right now. I mean he did ping RecessionTime who is probably getting kicked for not voting… But 3rd really isn’t helping his case right now.
It definitely can be a high level move, but why would mafia commit that type of move that early? It’s day 2 in a 28 man game. For a player that was virtually off the grid for most people other than you and I, in a big roster, I don’t think it was a mafia ploy. It’s entirely possible that it is a high level move but my guts say that it isn’t.
If Coco is indeed mafia I expect him to be the godfather, or a role of similar nature. That or they have a forger that they’ll commit to making him look clean for tonight/tomorrow night.*
Depends on what comes out of this. Alpha knows he’s dead if 3rd is civ, and if 3rd is Mafia and Alpha is James he basically just has to kill the three civ roles we know of and then he’s in the clear.
Right now I feel like I want to lynch Jones only because he’s a liability now. If we let him live off of that claim and he’s mafia it’s bad for us.
Duke’s name, as I’ve said earlier, was being thrown around a lot before he said he was Mafia. If nothing else he needs to be lynched.
Now I’m particularly interested in your answers to my questions from earlier, if you’d be so kind:
So you’re not saying you trust Alpha, but you will if 3rdStrike is Mafia. Those second and third points, valid though they may be, elude my understanding, could you elaborate? Alpha has taken a stance on many, many things, while 3SL has not. Confirming Alpha’s allegiance would result in more information than confirming 3SL’s allegiance, though both would result in some knowledge gained.
Basically, yeah. If he is Mafia he’ll obviously be unable to use his role if he has one (here’s to hoping he’s the Godfather so Mafia doesn’t get a night kill) and he’ll get DQd. If he’s civ then voting him off will do no good regardless.
@RadicalFuzz: For SAD, I haven’t seen anything that has struck me as odd from him. This is coming more from observing him in the last two games where he has had a power role, and how he played at the time.
The thing is, he seems more active this time. I don’t know what to make of it. It isn’t that I trust him, more that I felt things were off more with you and ForgeDigger, and she has since slipped a little further down on my suspicions. Both you and Forge are saying something is up with SAD, so maybe I should listen more.
And yes, I know better than to trust gambler’s fallacy. I just really think one of you three has to be mafia, and if I’m wrong, I’m wrong. But at the time, I thought you and Forge were the highest likelihood.
