I prefer not to go by recaps in Mafia games, but I appreciate the sentiment.
I didn’t have much time left to vote since I had school work to take care of. I saw your name pop up a few times within these pages and I just felt like voting for you. It’s early in the game, maybe as time goes on I’ll find reasons to not vote you. Something needs to get done in the beginning though.
He knows I hate lists of 5. At least he didn’t use the magic words to introduce what that list is though, but some completely new kind of list motive.
He also knows about calm resolve. So anybody really worried about being considered for one lynch vote by one person, day 1, is really not good for being found out if they have some of these extra roles, or “Power Roles” as Aidebit called them. However, it is good if we get Mafia somehow day 1 when that hasn’t happened, probably ever.
But I don’t see the jump to the day 1 role claim that still gets Fuzz Lynched, in fact its claim probably meant here comes the rest of the votes for him, bandwagon civs destroying Fuzz’s fun. Or taking his pudding, Carl heavy episode, es no bueno.
I don’t know if anyone saw the one or two things I still need to ask - so here’s a different, real easy one:
EpicMafia players or more experienced players, what’s a “joker” role if they exist? What do they get to do?
The Jester role has to get himself lynched to win.
I don’t know, this whole deal looks really fishy. It sounds like you know something that we don’t. What if there’s an <RF> role within the mafia and you guys are trying to get the medic lynched? Even if you are civ, I’d hate losing two civs because one of them suspects the other for, in my opinion, a horrible reason. It’s much better to lynch a wallflower than an ‘alpha’ player, no pun intended. I disagree with the RF lynch now, why don’t we get someone else?
Okay, this looks pretty bad for Russia. Nevermind what he was responding to, how he responded to it was interesting. Vynce mentioned it being a tiny read, and that no one should really follow it, it’s just something to ponder, he even mentioned that he used sort of faulty logic. First line’s okay. Second line sounds 50/50 to me. Third line sounds off.
The rest of the post is still pretty suspect, Oz wasn’t pushing that hard to lead the civs, I can only remember one post from him that was trying to lead town in one direction. (no, I’m not claiming Zayne Malik) Overall, I have enough reason to vote Russia. I’ll wait to see if something new comes up from him, but I’m going to be locking in my vote within the next twelve hours.

There is no discussion to take place during night phases.
Some members with roles are moving away from the forum and using other methods of communication since some of the noobs here like to profile stalk. Keep in mind, not only mafia has the ability to communicate outside of the thread, so be careful of what you think you might be gathering.

Based on first-day analysis, I have a couple of people I think are acting really fishy. Due to a lack of time, I’m going with my initial accusation.

Like I said, I only utilized profile stalking initially. I haven’t been checking profiles since.
Well, SAD reacted pretty passively. Not out of character for him, however, it doesn’t really help us get a read on him much.

I have to say that while i find interesting all this discussion that has been happening the last pages i’m still not sure about who will be a good lynch target for the day.
For example even when The Chief is willing to throw me under the bus there is a strong vibe (for now) that he could be a civ on this game.
SAD is acting on character so far, the same for other players, Alpha while acting quite “random” and distracting seems consistent with his day 1 antics.
If i had to choose, i think that i will go with 3rdstrikelove, who has not shown on the thread yet, iirc
Another absent player is Cynt, i think he has only made a post so far, In no way i am saying that i suspect him because of that (I suspect of everyone), i just want to point that until i was watching the list of players i noticed that he was playing and didn’t recall seeing him on the thread yet. (And i know that coming from me who has been yet to be active on the thread in a meaningful way is hilarious and quite hypocrite)
Actually i changed my Av to the joker because i wanted to went back to the classics, i loved how he was portraited on TDK and well, it has been a while since i had a joker av.
Also is not the 1st joker av that i have used (though is the 1st since 2 years) neither i changed it after the game started.
Lunch time early in the afternoon. I’ll decide who to place my vote for, then.

I’m personally trying to open my eyes a bit when it comes to suspects. I hate using Last Game™ reads. Alpha played it real cool when his name landed on my list. Mafia knows to be careful how they respond to suspicion lists. He’ll likely survive this phase anyway, but my vote should show people that I’m not taking the easy roads anymore.
Being wrong is part of the game so let’s see what happens.
