Bitten and Converted are the same thing, a player who started the game as town but was turned into a vampire/werewolf mid game.
Initiate is somebody who started the game as a roleless vampire/werewolf. The only real difference, I believe, is they all 3 know each others identity at the start of the game and so can never be cured for balance reasons.
There’s nothing in the rules against this, yes. It is allowed. They could reveal their master even without being cured, technically. Be careful who you recruit. Only the original members of your clan are 100% trustworthy.
Yes, if you’re in jail, you can be killed (or tracked, or protected, or whatever) and the identity of the person who targeted them is revealed to the Jailer. In your case, yes the Jailer would now know who Van Helsing is.
Town hall takes place at night, and the Jailers ability is submitted during the day. So even if the jailer is put into town hall, his choice is already made and the person is thrown into jail anyway. Even if he is in town hall, he will get the identity of the person who targets the person in jail. Logistically it might not make sense, but it’s too weird to start going down that road. In short, yes the jailer is a really powerful ability. Too powerful? Maybe. There is risk in everything, though, because these abilities can be used against the civs once the person is converted.
Heh. Well, a bright man always says this is a game of deception. Biting people is going to be a huge risk for the monsters. I’m now officially afraid of the jailer and shapeshifters most out of all.
Was this a sign up? Because I have to admit, your commitment to mafia in the past is… questionable at best. I believe the quote was “I will never play a forum game again”
I was going to avoid order of actions, and say that everything is sure to go off if it’s submitted. It might be tricky for Bite/Doctor Cure… like what order would that go in? So yeah, I may need to put an order of actions
Does the Mafia learn right away that -> the player they bit-> has a role?
Is it up to the player to tell them?
There’s some mixups there! It could also take some time to have a back and forth communication. So one might assume they do learn their role, being rewarded for picking a player that could actually be recruited, and being filthy mafia scum that lucked out and got bonus skills with their choice of player. Hopefully… not Doctor.
& yeah this game will have a lot of factions and screw over decisions. And maybe even talking in code.
Calling you all high school girls almost got me killed and with that being a huge Red Herring last time, I should want to forget that, but the opening was there. I don’t know if you played it off as well as I did, or equally as bad!
