There’s 3 possiblities

they’re 1 of the originals. In this case, they are fake cured “shows up as cured in the story” but are really still vampires/werewolves. This is stated on the initiate card (and also applies to the leader)

they’re 1 of the people converted using BITE. In this case, they come back from being werewolf/vampire, and are considered town again. They can use any info they gained during their time as vampire/werewolf to help the town win.

They were neither an original vampire/werewolf nor were they ever converted, they were just plain town. In this case, they die.
Please just don’t make WAH mafia unless I’m mafia too!
You know what’s gonna happen, one of us is gonna be Lucian and the other’s gonna be Dracula. That’d be a hell of a game.
I’ll go back to praying to the RNG god(s/dess/desses) now to get picked as Mafia.

Pre-game or not, noting who you want to team with could get us killed by leaving a trail to follow, even if its a paranoid and wrong path that’s not even true, all due to being scared.
Chief is building a notebook as we speak I’m sure.

The actual rules were condensed quite a bit to fit the cards, I will probably have to post the full text versions, but it does say they are “immune to the doctor’s Cure” so treat Immune as “it has no effect on them”

Everyone is going to be. Plus, everyone can get their choosing their own Mafia teammates on, after the word GO. I should make note of who wants to start as Mafia. Mafia Vampire or Mafia Werewolf and wants to be a head cheese by being 1 of the initial starting 3.
How strong is the Shapeshifter skill? It seems to workout really well for them since it carries over into the next day phase for voting.
*I don’t believe in pre-game reads. When I look at the sign up thread and then look at the actual game all I see is the disconnect between the two threads.
Then again I’m not one of the people who adhere to the FG idiom of “The game begins on the character select screen”. *
zoolander can be read as saying he’s either scared of me being mafia or wants to recruit me.
That’s free insightful info, well before the first page of the game icebreaker ideas on maybe: “So who would you guys recruit?” and a quick bandwagon lynch that can come with that and the paranoia of day 1 voting. Plus, answering it outside of game start can mean an answer that’s a lot more truthful, as it is not answered under the umbrella of the game thread being about deception and watching what you say.

You guys need to come out of retirement for the end of year game.
*I read it as Zoolander wanting to be on your side if you’re mafia. The undercurrent of “HAX will be dangerous when he’s mafia” is going to be close to becoming a reality in this game. I’m not even going to go into the possibilities or probabilities of that happening since it’ll just be conjecture at this point.
My main point is that most players are extra paranoid when it comes to you possibly being mafia. If I took a vote (not a half bad idea) of who would want to recruit you I think the consensus answer would be “yes”.*
It’s good, the vampires are based on deception, the werewolves brute strength.
However, if that person is targeted for an action (like kill) then the vampire dies in their place
