I have a feeling I’m going to dread whatever negatives you bring up.

Speaking of which, do you feel that Vynce is Mafia? Do you think he’s a Neonate or that he’s an Ironsmith? CMC?

ok, RadicalFuzz has my trust more than anybody else save for maybe Azure at this point. But he did ask us to keep him under suspicion. The way I see it is he is a civ, and he made a great play on a suspect.
or
He could be a Vampire and suspected AlphaCommando of being on the other faction, then made a somewhat compelling case against him…thereby making his enemy weaker and him coming out looking innocent.
or
He could be a dog and pseudo-sacrificed Alpha for whatever reason, to gain trust i don’t know. Maybe throw suspicion off of people who voted for Alpha

that also brings up another thing, if you see somebody that voted for Alpha, that doesn’t necessarily make them clean. I think there are some more hints in the votes…

I do know that there’s bound to be at least one werewolf on the list of Alpha voters, otherwise why would he have come up with that “confessions of a teenage pup” post before the end

Way unlikely that Alpha sacrificed himself for RadicalFuzz. So there’s still the possibility that he’s a vampire. However, there’s no need to kill him to find out. Just have the Fortune Teller investigate if he’s a vampire at some point. Likely next night phase because they’ll target Bious tonight.

Also, what are the chances that either ForgeDigger, GodotsRevenge, or Synonym are a werewolf? They voted RadicalFuzz’s way before the votes were highly stacked against Alpha. There’s a good chance one of them could have a werewolf teammate trying to help Alpha out.

lol, i don’t know any other way to be but paranoid. I thought from what happened yesterday Vynce might have either been the jailer or the soldier who got his lover to jail him for that night for whatever reason…that’s pretty much out the window now i think. Then again, I thought Bious was either Van Helsing or Mafioso for whatever reason, lol. I feel that AlphaCommando was Lucian ( Alpha=Dog+Commando=commander=/=LUCIAN code cracked lol ) and bestowed his power on whoever before he died. That just leaves AideBite for Dracula, lol.
and i don’t know what you mean by neonate or ironsmith.

have been*

I’m not trying to do anything for my “claim.” I’m pretty sure I haven’t claimed anything, although my status should be pretty obvious at this point. As for Vynce, I’m not making any assertions about him…only pointing out that he was requesting to be jailed again, for whatever reason i haven’t figured out yet

You know it’s ironic. It was AlphaCommando who told everyone to not lock in their votes on OZ early.

If he hadn’t said that, maybe he would’ve lived.

I agree that it’s unlikely, but it’s still a possibility. So he would have to Check off Vampire one night, and if they really wanted to be sure check off werewolf the next night. then the town would have to know the identity of the fortune teller for that info to do any good. It might be better not to put all our cards on the table at this point seeing as we already have our mayor’s and apparently our jailer’s identity known.
and as much as I’d like somebody to target Bious, I doubt they will. as a matter of fact, I’m about to quit taking about shit so much and start creeping the back posts, if i find anything important i’ll let you know.

What happens if the Fortune Teller gets bitten?

And also, what do you mean by “they’ll target Bious tonight?” He can’t be bitten since the soldier’s alive. And he can’t be assassinated since even if the monsters have assassins, the soldier will use his power to stop them.

It’s unlikely, but I do believe Bious could still be shapeshifted.

And just to be clear on my first question, “What happens if the Fortune Teller gets bitten after the Witch dies, and holds onto that info and becomes a monster?”

Not that being on a monster team is attractive at this point! #gotown

@Vynce

You and I were earlier theorizers about a “web of trust” in the town hall. Now this is starting from the ground up with Jailer and Mayor.

Any further thoughts on this arrangement? Should it continue? Should it be restricted to those two people? Should it expand?

Fortune Teller is a Lover, innit?

Immune to Bite.

Vulnerable to Assassinate.

So if they role call, they need to hole up with me.

Yeah, sorry about that. I did clarify in the subsequent post. My point being that we can’t just rely on the Fortune Teller to tell us about RF. He’s still on the radar.

*bolded for emp
I forgot to ask you about this…whoever said anything about offing fuzz?

what if someone lights that bitch on fire?

I was referring to the Fortune Teller. If they go with Bious’ plan, they’ll target him so their identity is revealed to him.

Right, got it.

Just to be clear, though, you don’t think we should rely solely on the FT to reason about RF, right?

Nobody right now. But there could be someone who might think Alpha was serious and was actually onto something. Plus, it really is the only way to find out where his allegiance lies other than the Fortune Teller route. For the record, I don’t think he’s a vampire. I’m just throwing this option out in case anyone else does and decides to hunt down someone who could potentially be a civilian.

You’re all so daft. I shouldn’t have to role claim if I don’t want to. You think everyone dropping their pants so early into the game is such a great p

The guys taking charge! I don’t think gaining the trust of people that could ultimately turn on you (resulting in a genocide) is a fair trade-off for neutralizing civ roles, only if for one night. Then it gets trickier…

What if you were being offered up by these same individuals. You could role claim, I guess. You might even feel compelled to, despite wanting very much not to do that. So there you are, with a target on your back from VH (rendering your sacrifice of ability moot). Maybe you announce your role in game. Better hope you’re assured protection from assassinate.

So, no. I don’t think it should continue. The idea was worth exploring without necessarily putting it into action.
