@WTF-AKUMA-HAX It was the game that Noodle ran. kaz died rather early and was mafia iirc. The Chief and Pimp Willy were mafia… or maybe just PW. I can’t recall.

Also, now that they’re numbers are weaker, there are definitely going to be some smoke signals sent between the monsters’ factions trying to work together. Just thought I’d throw that out there.

It’s possible (IMO probable) that this was intended to be an olive branch to the Werewolves, to signal that the Vampires did not want to fight and instead wanted to cooperate with the Werewolves (obviously because they were lower on numbers). Does anybody else, using this information, come to the same conclusions that I have?

*I never spotted this post, interesting catch Fuzz. The post could be read as a vamp extending an olive branch to the wolves. I believe OZ mentioned something similar which I pointed out back on page 18 or 19.

I’m not entirely caught up yet (I’m on page 21). My thoughts so far is that at least 2 factions are trying to control the thread. I’m getting a strong feeling that some of the stuff that’s getting posted is a smokescreen to hide something. *

A few things I’ve noticed that I’d like to point out:
-With all of the conspiracy theories about Soviets death, none of you considered the abilities of our resident witch? I’ll let that percolate.
-BD has been mad in the past few games because he was civilian and got killed Day 1, despite contributing heavily. This game he’s quiet and dropping off the radar. Although to be fair, so am I.
-Soviet wasn’t in a position where he was under a lot of scrutiny. There was little to be gained from the mindgames his death would cause if he was sacrificed. "Did our vigi hit him or was he sacrificed? Who knows?"
Here’s the deal. If he was sacrificed while the other initiate was promoted there were only four things Dracula could have done to that other initiate.
~Promote ability: The other inititate is now in charge of promotions… of nobody.
~Assassinate: The other remaining initiate is now able to kill others. But the vampire ranks are now permanently capped at two. For the whole game. Whoops.
~Bite: Most likely course of action. The second initiate is now able to swell the vampires ranks, providing them with more bodies that they can promote into other roles.
~Celerity: This one would be a good investment long term, but not if they were sacrificing their other member night one. Unlikely if Soviet’s death was intentional.

See why it’s highly unlikely that his death was a sacrifice play?
What do they gain?
-Potentially steering civilians towards a list of players as lynch targets. Soviet didn’t really implicate anyone new or exciting so that’s not a huge gain.
-Convince the civilians that they have an awesome vigilante… which gives the civilians hope and a drive to keep pressing people for information? That seems counter to the vampire strategy.

No, I would say that the vampires were doing what the werewolves were probably also doing: Promoting a member to ‘bite’ so that they can increase their numbers. We just need to hope that they promoted Soviet and not the other member.

-Unless I’m missing something the chances of the witch finding vigi on the first try are slimmer than my waist size (28/30)
-BD like many other quiet guys so far (hope someone else does a post tally so I don’t have to lol) probably just doesn’t know how to handle his role?
-Yeah I think I established before it was much more likely vigi got lucky rather than vampires going out on a limb with sacrifice/bite combo but it’s a mixup so who knows really lol

Soviet listed you, MP, and myself as his 3 suspects. I know I’m a civ. I don’t feel MP and Sov were allied in this game. By default, then, I suspect you the most. Of the 3 names he provided.

Now, I’ll concede that he could have named 3 civs, since it would deviate from the convention we’re all so familiar with. And you should know, you’re a distant third behind GDR and SumAznDude.

Why do you feel it’s more likely sov allied with me rather than MP? Also he named 3 players as safe: DG, Azure, and Pie yet you choose to ignore this and focus on the 3 he suspected? Isn’t it more likely mafia would try to protect their own then even give a hint as to who might be within their ranks for some yomi layer 2 play?

There seems to be a bandwagon forming around me and it’s confusing to me because I don’t think I’ve said anything suspicious so far, on the contrary I have noted some suspicious behavior of others like Azure, pie, and chief yet my posts seem to go ignored in favor of a hive mind mentality that seemingly has no rationale behind it. One part of me feels I should reveal my role or if I even have one at all as a sort of pre emptive last gasp just in case eviscerate is used on me however, the other part of me is thinking there is a chance I may not be lynched so I should hold on to my card of info and at the very least delay mafia from knowing who is and isn’t a lover as that disinction is what’s keeping mafia from guaranteed bite targets.

If not, then RF will have to make a really strong case, otherwise I might actually No Lynch for the first time since the All Star game, or vote randomly.
