Also, note that this is my opinion on Day 1. I have serious doubts that you’ll end up dying today. More than likely TCJ will be lynched and will prove to be civilian. And the game will spiral from there.
3rdStrikeLove, Orochizoolander and HAX are voting Pietastic.
Vynce is voting SumAznDude.
Majority votes are going for TCJ.
Other big names that came up for lynch:
Vynce
Azure
MissingPerson
DarkGeneral
My initial read on this is evidence that the gloves are off and the two mafia factions are clearly at their throats which is good.
The bad is that, in the event the we do nab a mafia this lynch, the people that voted for them aren’t automatically cleared because it is to be expected that mafia factions voted for each other.
I’d highly doubt that the factions would vote for their own. Their numbers are top small at this point and their up against each other to win as well. The risk outweighs the reward imo. Of course yomi is still possible.
As civs we can’t risk lynching our immune members so if any of you feel like you’re at risk send smoke signals or something.
Um… really? I know you’re new, but people generally don’t go in on someone day one with vague accusations like “stuff you’ve said not really adding up to me.” The reason is that they realize they’re most likely wrong, their lynch target will turn up clean, and then the accuser will be the next target. Not exactly a good strategy for long-term health.
Also, in your scenario, there is no “bright side.” What other insights I have, regardless of their value, might need to stay sealed.
Co-Jones isn’t even showing up? That’s a slap in the face to every player, regardless of role and faction. Locking it in now. (Don’t forget to PM PW, folks!)
I’ve thought about it. Honestly, it’s hard to say. If I say unequivocally “yes,” then I run the risk of never being recruited and receiving intel, I’d just be killed outright, or you guys would just assume I’m already an initiate and trying to stay good with the civs. If I say unequivocally “no,” then you guys are bound to lynch me anyway since I “wouldn’t be helpful to the civ cause.” If I give an ambiguous question, I limit the amount of intel I could receive if I get recruited and they might decide to bring me into the main PM.
I was actually hoping to escape this question, despite my asking it myself. More than likely I’d ask to be cured, but I’d have to be sure it was the right time to be cured.
*At this point I think Coco is a straight up roleless Civ. If he was mafia he should have checked in by now. If he had a pm buddy he should have checked in. And if he has a role he is a damn fool for not checking in.
Assuming Coco is Civ, do you think we could use him as some sort of poison pill? Maybe we can get the doctor to intentionally kill/cure him at a later phase. This is of course, a big assumption on my behalf and we run the risk of missing out on a chance to nab someone on inept mafia play.
At best this is bad mafia play. At worst this is bad civ play. Either way this is has been poor play on Coco’s part.*
If he’s a civ and we use him as a poison pill, monsters just won’t bite him. And that would tie up the doctor, who will likely be busy on subsequent nights so long as he’s alive.
