No one’s pregnant. My CEO was fired 3 weeks ago, and everyone in the warehouse and main office walked off the job. We’ve gotten 2 deliveries out of 15 or so.
Nobody knows what’s going to happen. We’re losing millions of dollars a day as the ex CEO negotiates with the board of directors for a majority stake of the company.
People are picketing, and there have been rallies with over 10,000 people. I’ve been struggling to walk the line of doing what I’m told and not being a pariah. I’ve held the same job for over a decade. It was supposed to be the safe, lucrative choice.
Fuck I should have played. After vynce mentioned his rock solid marriage and not his job im the day one write up I fucking knew it had to be work related… can’t believe all the warehouse people walked out. I remember when my dad was in a spot similar when I was much younger, being a foreman during a strike… I dont envy that position at all, man. Keep your head up
