Congratulations Syke1 on helping us undermine your would-be assistants. But ya still lost and hitar0 was just hilarious. So yeah that whole switch P.Willy and PuFF thing was pretty useless by the end of it. And the thought of Renynoise holy hell 
well… P.Willy and Puff switch was not only to trick people into voting off a player who has used up his lvl3, but also to invite Wesker to join the dark side. It would have been the best case scenario since both names were given out by DP’s power, but Wesker did not take the opportunity, haha. I am assuming that it was due to the shit Akuma had dumped earlier in the game that makes Syke1 not wanting to join them.
Also… who was the player that mentioned that we might “not” have the marvel apprentice initially? I always thought that there was at least 1 marvel apprentice to start the game until someone mentioned such possibility.

and lol at Renynoise. He’s got one of the most powerful power… At first I thought ShinAkumaX was Joe because he was the only one there in the Joe-killing list, lol.
My job here in the game was more or less to help resolving some confusions and keep the game going smoothly, apart from the math shit that I dumped in, that is. Every game needs a math guy, no?

Us Mafia had Black Jesus pegged as probably Joe as well, I was surprised we were wrong on that one. But when Joe is inactive I guess you’re just trying to connect dots that aren’t there
I think we can definitely be more choosey for the next game, the last SRK Mafia game seemed like it started up slower with signups, this one filled up so fast in comparison. But then you have people like orochizoolander whos fairly active and well known going inactive, SAX and Hitaro aren’t exactly strangers, so it’s hard to know whos gonna follow through and whos not
The fact you guys kept thinking we had a marvel initiate the whole time was cool, until somebody who came out as Marvel in the first game (before role shuffles) said that no, there was only 4 and no starting initiates. So thanks ShinAkumaX for having us all reshuffule roles to accommodate you so you could get DQd by day 2
Basically though the MvC theme was pretty fun, I think though in the end DP is too powerful, theres no incentive for them to try and join Marvels or convert anybody, it’s best for them to get killed and join the Capcoms side. I think the opposite role might be smarter for the future; start as Phoenix and if she’s lynched she becomes DP, that fits more with the whole phoenix-DP character as it is anyway (from good -> bad). Kind of like a Jester role with a twist.
Oh and when Wesker didn’t convert and Akuma quit right when we used the level 3 to pull off the best possibly outcome of the situation, that pretty much signaled to me there was no chance to win. Thats why I thought it was more important to make sure Wesker lost than it was for us to win : P And I was paranoid that anybody who claimed a special role was lying, like Papa Rhino. I never thought anybody would actually fall for my “I’m arthur guys” feint and come out as the real arthur, it seemed like the best way to find out who wekser was since he obviously wanted to get targeted.
The initial reason we wanted DP to be like it is was because I thought that there would be a marvel apprentice to start the game. W/ one extra mafia in the group, it would be much harder for civs to win, hence the DP.
About DP, I think the idea that DP’s identity would be given out to medic, UC, and then vigi when he converts might have discouraged DP to use its regular power. I think if we wanna keep DP mostly the same, his identity should not be disclosed when using his power. That’s something that both SWB and I had overlooked at during the game design.
Now that if DP’s identity would not be disclosed, he would have more incentives to convert players into mafia, provided that the mafia core/Akumahaha were playing smart. Initial idea of SWB was to have DP to strengthen its power by having the third faction (all players who are converted by him stay w/ him, rather than the core mafia), but it was too complicated to be balanced correctly, so we canned the idea.
noodle: I was the one who pointed out there were no apprentices to start. we didn’t have one when I was mafia and wonky admitted he hadn’t converted anyon. that’s why I thought wonky was lying since he kept yelling about modok 2.0 and shuma 2.0, despite the fact that they were only possible through him. turns out he was just dumb.
Well… Wonkey as DP did not know the true mafia core members. Was Wonkey mafia in the first round? If so, he might have known that there was no apprentice back then.
And definitely thanks to your suspicion about the no apprentices… if we did have one in this game, it would have been mafia’s win (due to Shuma 2.0).

Game over? Ok. Yall niggas are fucking dumb. I didn’t give a fuck if I died either way. I just wanted civs to win from the getgo. And let’s see, I WAS RIGHT on my mafia suspicions. Arthur wasted his damn lvl 3. Converting was something I was never gonna do. I tried to point them out as fierce as I wanted to so they’ll kill me but whatevs. 1st time civs won right? Ya welcome.
Pre-SAX would’ve been the prime game. I loved my old role. You can’t do shit as Albert. Wish I could’ve been more involved at night.
HAHAHa, Syke1, I never called you dumb. I thought that you were trying to get to civ’s side, but you were playing a bit too carefully for being Wesker, which might have hurt you at the end. Wesker was designed to be selfish, after all. (but yes, as I mentioned in post #1248… if I were you, I probably would rather be civ at that point)
But yeah, the idea of having Arthur using lvl3 was definitely necessary if we wanted to follow up w/ the elimination method. It was a 100% victory for civ because arthur was able to clean up more “unconfirmed” before all the confirmed are wiped out.
dp should be required to attempt conversion. coukd special roles be converted?
