I think we both know what bakery I’m getting my toast from, but I’ll let everyone else play yeast explorer for now. The Day phase would be no fun if I ended it this early.
A few blips on my radar but nothing egregious yet. Two players above all else sound the cleanest, would lean civvy on them if push came to shove.
I don’t see the logic in going after third party day 1 unless his recruitment mechanic directly interferes in some form with our UC investigations. From what I can tell our UC gets back player role cards, irrespective of alignment. IE: He checks Hax as Hax, Ash as Ash, roleless as roleless. So even if a mafia member got recruited our UC would still be able to see if they were mafia or not due to their role card, not alignment.
If UC investigates a mafia role who have been recruited by HAX, does he only get back the original players role, alignment or does he get their role with alignment?
Furthermore, in terms of wagonomics we dont maximize how much data we get out of it. It’s an easy wagon for mafia to hide behind mid to lategame with the excuse that “Oh, he turned third party which doesn’t look bad” or “the consensus was that 3rd party was a good target” and for lazy players not to step up and contribute to the civ cause. 3rd party isn’t an active conspirator to fuck us over, he’s in it for survivability in the long run. If he’s complicit in helping us catch mafia then I have no problem helping him fulfill his win condition at the end of the game after we catch all those bastards.
Alpha haiting 3rd party roles and trying to lynch them is part of his usual game plan so I can see why he’d push for the guy which he thinks is HAX day one.
But why did you jump onto Alpha’s read that fast @jasonC ?
By “jump on” do you mean “go and try to see what alpha was seeing”? He threw it out there without explanation so I wanted to call him out on it, but I ended up seeing what he saw, so it seemingly panned out.
The only reasoning I can see Alpha using is "Blind noticed Affinity and Stocky’s priority in night actions but ignored HAX, meaning he’s HAX!!!"
But to me that’s some terrible logic.
