Somebody like BJ has a legitimate shot, somebody like Slice doesn’t because he hasn’t even played in an SRK mafia game at all
And I know you’re really harping on the 12 man game Kaz, but 9/3 and 8/2 are actually really different games especially with the very minimal roles we have going on
BJ is good, he stopped playing when the roles got crazy (UMVC2) and then chief magically started playing, which is where the joke started. I’m not sure if a simplier game like this would interest him more or not honestly, of if he’s just done with the games.
It’s really hard to narrow down the last 2 players, so I kinda feel kaz on the player bump, but no matter where the line is drawn it will be hard to fill. I think 10 is good. I think a lot of the players in the top 8 are a bit too “Safe,” maybe I’m the most reckless, so I want to get at least 1 more wildcard in there like sik or BD, which will probably be my vote still
Actually come to think of it BJ is probably classed in that same type of player
Also I swear BJ mentioned something about his profession and it sounded similar to The Chief’s… either way he busted civ ass that last game…
Maybe BJ just got tired of keeping up his dick persona and morphed it into the Chiefs more mellow take on things
Just a heads up: I will be away from tomorrow until Monday night. Have we decided when this game is going to start yet?

Right now, we are just trying to discuss the setup of the game, and how we are going to nominate people.
It seems most people agree on the 8 I posted, + 2 more player votes.
Lets give it one more day. If anybody disagrees with the 8 there, and wants to submit somebody that should be on the list, post who it is, who they should replace, and back that up with some reasoning.
Otherwise, we can open the voting tomorrow. I don’t know if we should just have everyone place 1 vote, and the top 2 people get picked, or if we should do everybody votes, top person gets picked, then a second round of everybody votes for the second spot. It’s faster to give everyone 1 vote (or maybe even like 2-3 votes each) and take the top 2 people with the most votes
Alright fuck it, I’m just gonna make an executive decision. Here’s the voting format:

Everybody who has participated in at least 1 mafia game on SRK, you get 3 votes to place. You can either split up the votes (1 vote for 3 people), or if you feel very strongly you can use multiple votes on a single person (3 votes for player X, 2 votes for X and 1 vote for Y)
You can talk about who you voted for, but it’s not required to. I dont want to make current tallys public, so people feel obligated to metagame it and stack votes one way or another.
The top 2 players in vote count will get to play in the game. If any of the 10 selected players cannot make it, the replacements will be taken off the next person in line. In the event of a tie, we will have a tie breaker vote between all tied parties.

Yeah. I’m not gonna play if BJ plays because reasons. But if I do play, I’d suggest BJ not be allowed to play because reasons. 
Maybe the first step to assigning the 2 roles is to gauge interest. Have people sign up for the spots and vote from there.
As for the game size, I prefer the more complicated games so I think that means the game would need to be larger to accommodate more roles. Also, BJ doesn’t like larger games so that’s even better because reasons.
And I pmd my votes to myself already, so I can’t be swayed by other peoples votes as they come in

That’s actually a role in my Vampire vs Werewolf game, the Witch… she chooses 2 targets… if the first person has a night action, the target is changed to the second target.
