I want someone that knows more than me to do a Boondocks theme.
I personally want to run a Red vs. Blue theme with modified roles from my South Park game plus a few new ones.
I’m also seriously considering Duckie’s idea of SFxT. With that, I need to practice balancing games more and may need some input, as I intend to break the crap out of that game with roles/mechanics if I do it.

Just thought I’d mention that I know nothing about any of the game themes being planned. I like Boondocks and its white brother from another mother South Park but I’m oblivious on the others.
I don’t watch much TV. BullDancer has my blessing to run a boondocks game. :tup:

If the civs win (killing all mafia) then they win too, since they are civs
If the mafia wins, but skylar and walt jr both survive, even though mafia wins Skylar and Walt Jr still win. it’s like an alternate win condition.
The idea is to set up the theme where they’re not dirty, but they have incentive to help Walt win. They don’t want mafia to win, so much as they want Walter to survive.
Obviously it needs to be tinkered a bit, we need to make sure they actually want Walt to win, and not just day 1 offer up Walts name to be offed. Also have to decide if Walter gets their identities too, which might help with the whole tension between both sides. We want a situation where Skylar and Walt Jr want Walt to survive, regardless of the rest of the game… need to come up with a little better way than just having Skylar day 1 go “Yo, kill Player X he’s walt.”

I watched South Park pretty regularly 14 years ago. It’s really something how these themes continuously miss me. Doesn’t bother me, though :tup:.
Yeah. That probably went over a couple heads. I think I read somewhere that most SRK mafia members came from Zaibatsu too.
I’ve only beat Potter 1 time in marvel 2 and that was in casuals but that tournament he took 2nd next to Justin so I remembered his name since then.
He had to tell me himself the reason why people called him Harry Potter. When I saw a trailer to the film I connected the dots. (Y’all should know that Conan O’Brien posts here too.)
I’ve never see a single Harry Potter movie to this day. Maybe I’m missing out?
Harry Potter Movies are decent, I was more into the books, but the movies for the most part did a good job, it’s just missing all the stuff that makes it cooler in my eyes.
Breaking Bad though… get a netflix account and watch that whole series, the final 8 episodes are airing right now (started last night) and then the series is done. And it’s a very, very well done show.
MP needs to go back to being pissed off I’m “not playing” and keep asking newb questions about rules or obvious things (and Duckie says that’s why I’m Mafia).

Thought it was 12 hours earlier, Monday 9 am. Pulled an Icege, which was clear Mafia behavior, rushing a (lynch) vote before lunchtime.

I sent a checkin PM to all 8 players to make sure they’re up for playing… only like 2 have confirmed so far : P
I sent a PM to some of the top voted players to check if they’re actually interested in playing
And I lined up a backup GM in case Bious makes the vote
We’re less than 12 hours away from having everything finalized. If we do go with 12 instead of 10 (looks unlikely at this point), we just go down and take the next 2 highest voted people.
I think 12 is too mafia favored (3-9 instead of 2-8), as its 25% mafia not 20% mafia. Maybe its balanced out by the lack of powers though. 12 man works fine, I just for some reason feel 10 man is the magic number for balance. I guess our first mini game we will find out.
Maybe I’ll do a 12 man mini game later (non allstar, open to all non allstars) to test the format if we do 10 this time.
