My laptop’s for work because all is needed is office so I never need to upgrade like I’m doing right now with my tower.
I hope you’re not one of those saying we should all abandon computers for tablets.
I use a tower at home because to get a comparable, portable machine, it will cost 3-4 times as much as this one cost me to put together.

Towers are amazing. Oh wait, no I’d much rather sacrifice the ability to customize and modify it, and easily swap parts, and add more drives, for what? Portability? As a home PC, a desktop is virtually unrivaled. Sure, their are uses for a laptop as well, but as a dedicated PC, fuck that nonsense. Just go with a fucking tablet instead, and invest in a good PC, so you can just swap out parts and stay with the times.
I can guarantee you I will still have my tower in 5-10 years time. I keep most of my old cases and towers for future projects. I can guarantee you nobody smart keeps a laptop for anything useful, 10 years down the line.

Last night, I was at a casino. I was talking to my dad and we were like maybe a foot a part from each other, talking about random slot machines. Anyways, a fat chick starts speed walking towards, I don’t pay any mind, lot of nasty fat women in the world. So she gets within 5 feet of my dad and I, and she puts her head down, and tries to ram through us, like a fucking football player or something.
Needless to say, me and my dad are big guys, but this was big women, so it made us stumble a bit but we still stopped her and protected the quarterback. Both me and my dad berated her and ask what the hell was she doing, but she just ran past us all jiggly and nasty. The woman was like 25, had tight striped pants, shirt, and socks. Pisses me off how fat and rude some women are at such a young age.

RAT mice suck. Shitty shape, shitty weight system, shitty laser sensor
Laser mice all suck as every available laser sensors has built in acceleration or z-axis tracking issues. No new laser sensor for mice has been released in a few years so I guess the corporations stopped funding R&D as they were unhappy with the results. Still used in gaming mice AS THEY HAVE FUCKING LAZERS BRO! and they can dupe ignorant consumers into spending more money. Lasers are fucking gimmicks as is DPI (You really don’t need a high DPI. The most anyone could ever realistically use is 1800 at 1080p anyway and even that be practically uncontrollable for precision tasks)
Not many mice currently in production have good tracking (no acceleration, no prediction, high enough perfect control speed, no jittering). So few I will list them all here. So few that dudes on ESReality are designing mice and commissioning factories in China to manufacturer them.
Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical and Intellimouse 1.1/3.0 Decent perfect control speed when you crank the polling rate. Cheap and feel like it but the WMO is under 10 bucks so great bang for buck for that one. Intellimouse 3.0 build quality actually declined when it went out of production for a while and then back into production at a different factory.
Razor Abyssus same sensor as the latest death adders but cheaper and ambedextrious. has a massive problem though in the that the old firmware has jitter issues, can’t be updated, AND YOU HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING UNTIL YOU GET THE MOUSE OUT OF THE PACKAGING! Not worth buying imo
Razor Deathadder series all track well but have too thin mouse feet, glossy sides (except for the black), and a rather high lift off distance (the distance at which the mouse stops tracking when you lift it up) on the newest ones. Typical shoddy Razor construction too. Only decent mouse to come in a left handed edition too. Otherwise you are stuck with ambidextrous mice or using your right hand.
Zowie AM only issues are a confusing way to select the DPI and polling rate (driverless and no onboard memory on the mouse) and buttons rub against each other when pressed hard together at once. Zowie said they would make a gap between the buttons to get rid of this in the next batch of them so I guess it will be a good buy. Another Zowie mouse, the Mico has built in prediction, DPI settings above 800 are bugged and a low perfect control speed.
Logitech G400 the update of the legendary mx500 series only now with more DPI (gimmicks) and more importantly, no prediction. this thing is a tank and Logitech customer support will just ship you a new one should anything go wrong. Note that only models with a product ID number (PID) above LZ13333 lack prediction
Razer black widow gets shit as it’s overpriced for what it is: a shoddily-built Cherry Blue keyboard that doesn’t even have n-key rollover (press all the buttons you want at once and they will all register. unlimited over ps/2, 6 over USB). It’s a pos compared to other Cherry keyboards such as Filco, Ducky, Rosewill, DAS, and Leopold. Also Cherry Blues are the worst switches for gaming due to them being essentially linear switches that were jerry-rigged back in the 80s to emulate buckling springs. The problem is that the activation point is noticeable below the reset point meaning double tapping is difficult. I am a member of the Model M master race myself. Currently have one made by Unicomp (had an IBM one since I was a child but it kicked the a couple of years ago). Only difference is that it’s native USB and the steel backing plate is a bit lighter so it’s not as suitable for use as a medieval weapon. Somebody should see if the old industrial IBM ones can stop bullets…

This mouse got me sponsored and into CAL-I for CS 1.6 back when that was generally the top competitive PC FPS.
Every Razer mouse I’ve owned (years ago I went through 4 or 5 - boomslang, diamondback copperhead, pro series) have failed in less than a year (either involuntary double-clicking, or not clicking at all - those were the primary problems) Their shit looks cool, but it’s still shit, unfortunately.

Some people actually need mice with higher perfect control speeds than IE 3.0 with an overclocked polling rate. Mainly CS players who turn it down all the way and set it so like 50 inches of horizontal movement is a 360 degree turn.
