Holy shit… just got home. turned on my PC, went to SRK… and found aideo ads with audio on here, for the first time.
Evidently my antivirus isn’t getting these… what do you guys use to block this crap?

I don’t get shit from SRK from my desktop or two lap tops.
I have a virus scanner, but I don’t even turn them on. I just run a scan once a week on Sundays and 99% of the time nothing comes up.

No Script is probably the best addon in existence once you create a detailed list of scripts and ips to allow through(easier to use than it sounds)…
PS: It forces you to realize that google spies on every website you go to… every website seems to run either google or yahoo scripts, even if it is not used for the website to function in the slightest…
EDIT: Also fuck Chrome… insecure pos, I had trojans and rootkits out of the ass within 1 week of switching to it and then immediately switching back…

I forget what subscriptions I’ve used for AdBlock Plus. I do use NoScript as well as BetterPrivacy though.
Don’t use Chrome, especially if you’re worried about Google. It phones home, and despite having been explained why it’s still pretty shady. There is a script for Greasemonkey/Scriptish out there called “Google Privacy” if you’re worried about the onclick during searches among other things.

Still does not block popups(ads that popup when you click on something)… you need no script for that(blocks everything else though)…
No script also prevents scripts from redirecting you to other pages unless you allow it through(I keep it disabled unless I’m going to a suspect website via clicking some random link)…

I haven’t used this myself but if you’re having pop up problems it’s probably good. I haven’t personally seen popups in quite awhile.
