Yeah I should have pointed out to clear “recent files viewed” as well as change the association when you’re done fapping (so change .j69 or whatever you call the extension to load with INSERT IMAGE VIEWER HERE, then beat off to pics, then change extension to load up with notepad or something that won’t work).

I’m not really into this, but a sub-topic of blacksmithing is sand casting, which is basically a way to make a sand mold of just about anything you can think of and then cast it in whatever metal you can melt and successfully work with (some metals cast better than others). Hmmm… this gives me some more money-making ideas…

I worked for 3 years with a company that did nothing but Alluminum Sand Casting. that shit is legit. You can mold anything. They did stuff from little 2lb weather vanes to 2,000lb castings. Incredible shit man.
Yeah, it really is cool. aluminum is awesome for artsy/functional stuff, but horrible for knives/swords. I wouldn’t mind learning to do casting, but it’s really tedious from what I understand.
I’ma have to find this guy’s site who does wax castings for brass weaponry. he did a wax casting for a rapier handle that was just beautiful. I need to bookmark al the shit I come across. :tup:
Just find something you like, and that is somewhat in demand. Millwright, CNC programmer/operator (what I do now), Welder, these are people that are always in demand and have not much trouble learning their craft, and getting a job.
