I miss being able to play RPGs or long adventure games, even learning new fighters like Persona becomes a hassle when it’s on again- off again.

I play my games in small spurts. Usually there will be a weekend or two where life decides it doesn’t need anything from me and I can just play all weekend.

in other news…daily sketchy sketch time. i kinda dig this style more than the past few sketches ive posted. im always playing with my influences…america and japanese, trying to find a happy medium i like. when i pick straight american, im not happy and when i pick straight anime im not happy…only when i kinda draw in the middle do i feel actually good about my art. blah. i wonder if other artists struggle with influences like that.

It’s partly because 24 hours is simply less and less time of your total aggregate hours of existence as you get older and partly because when you were a kid (in “the Western World”), generally all you had to do besides gaming and playing was at best a moderate obligation to school combined with an inability to do any other activities unless your parents consented.

Someone tried to kidnap a 9 yr old girl from a bathroom, after he had been lurkin around 2 other schools. Bullcrap about principal didn’t know and couldn’t release info until it was all correct, oh sorry, like 4 hours after this guy was reported around campuses. Girl fought him off, and was in class again by yesterday.
And here’s hoping it won’t be a mark on your record, that prevents you from finding future employment in the same occupation if this goes to a boiling point.
