I’m glad I graduated when I did. My senior year at my high school was the final normal year before they changed the school into a stem school. No more theater, arts (other than computer) or instrument classes I believe. Lot of after school shit cut too. I never took any of those classes, but I had the option to and thats all that mattered.
Well I had beginning art Freshmen year, but that was exclusively for sleep.
Bacon > everything, but it’s still a noble cause. Right on! :tup:
It’s just terrible cause more and more schools are taking the Arts out of school and not replacing it. I’m glad I had all the awesome art teachers from Elementary to High School. I don’t want to see other kids have their creativity stifled all because people are ignorant and closed minded.
Well, I finally remembered another dream… and this one involved MvC…
So there I was in the middle of some major disaster, involving the collapse of buildings…reminding me of the things going on 9/11/01… I was trapped in the building and there was no way out. I noticed a Marvel vs. Capcom machine. Upon closer inspection, there was some disappointment when I realized “…oh, it’s…part 1. Well…” It wasn’t a normal arcade machine though; it was the table-style unit I remember from way back in the 1980s… usually those were just Pacman, Centipede and Galaga. They were built like a table with the screen right there on the top side of it. I usually saw those in pizza places for some reason…never anywhere else. So, as this building was collapsing all around me in Dreamland, I sat down to play the game for apparently one last time.
This wasn’t one of the more memorable/awesome dreams I’ve had, but they it would be nice if someone could invent a way to record a dream…perhaps exported directly into a computer as any other HD video file…there’s got to be a way that’s possible. Sheeeit, I’d love to watch or even repeat some of my best dreams if possible… like the lucid one where I could super-jump like the Hulk (then decided to fly once I realized it was a dream… I was using this super-human level of agility and speed to escape some mysterious government/military squads, of course…heh, they couldn’t even land a single shot on me, because I was just that awesome in that dream.), or that other lucid one where I was able to reach through dimensions…or that “Rapture” dream where a mysterious object in the sky flew around and absorbed everyone in this world but me (which is still one of my greatest fantasies… I finally had the world to myself. The rest of the human race was gone, and I was just relieved that the mystery object in the sky didn’t get me.)… or that other “Last Man on Earth” dream where there wasn’t even any buildings or other structures left… I was in the middle of nowhere in a barren world. It was fantastic.

Well, the majority, if not most, of the stuff that tends to cause trouble has come from “recent” celebrities of the past couple of centuries rather than mythology or (specific) ancient myth, so I see how you could miss stuff.

she just likes anybody that gives her attention. in Cali during high school her boyfriend was Mexican (looked just like a descendant of Frank Shamrock), post high school her New York boyfriend was black, my friend that she slept with was white. she’s definitely dated more black guys though.
and yeah, i don’t know any other adoption success stories; possibly my old neighbor, he joined the army after he graduated high school. he keeps getting engaged and dropping the girls though. he has 2 kids i think. he might be married now. he’s 23 or 24.
a few days ago mom told me the first adopted kid from parents she knew was involved in murdering the adoptive mom’s sister. i don’t get it…
