I was talking to a girl on campus the other day who pulled out her iPhone to check a text, and I noticed she had a cover on it that made it look like a cassette tape. I laughed and commented on it, and then asked her if she’d ever owned any. She said “no, but my dad used to have a bunch of them.”
Yeah, that made me feel old. I remembered listening to the Top 8 at 8 every night with my finger on the record button, hoping I’d catch one of my favorite songs and get it on the mix tape I was making. I’d always get pissed when the DJ would start talking during the intro or ending of a song… it’s like they knew what I was trying to do.
What I hate is when DJ wont S-T-F-U during a song and try to play sing-a-long with their raspy-ass voices. Then to make matters worse, they replay the beginning of the song halfway through again and again taking away every ounce of enjoyment. They can eat a dick!:mad:

Weeks, I am probably going to trade my road bike with very thin tires in for a hybrid/mountain bike with thicker tires.
My reasoning is that the thin tires are so fragile that I have to avoid every hole/stone in the road, sometimes I have to ride to work early in the morning when it’s dark and I am tired, basically like today, and will hit a hole (it was like a half inch deep) and the damn tires will pop.
Is my reasoning solid? I don’t need a speedy bike, I need a stable, reliable bike I can ride over rocks and not be afraid to go up on a curve over. I’d just want your biking experience input before I went to the shop and heard the same thing from the employees.
