What’s the ideology behind tagging PHX in at 5 meters waiting till she dies then tagging her out against another PHX player?

I’m not criticizing your play, I’m not a PHX player so I’m actually curious as to why you did what you did.

I can see the reasoning behind doing it against non PHX teams, becuase the incoming setups aren’t as scary, but you did it against another PHX player (who just happened to have D.Phx traps when you enter).

When I play against PHX if I’m put in a situation where they have D. PHX + level 3 x-factor and I’m coming in I already assume I lost the match. I’ve played against a few PHX players (onlineI saw one of them on the WNF stream, and another on the Boxarena steam) and it pretty much came down to me snapping her in and getting rid of her before that situation even comes, becuase my win rate with that situation is like 10%.

I won’t do it out of respect. Its mostly in poor taste to do it. I still love the woman, the relationship is just getting o be like walking on eggshells. There better be some awesome apologies coming out of that mouth.

We’ll see how that goes. Already arranging emergency place to stay. If I go through with it I’m sure this is going to be all sorts of disgustingly bad. All my major life changes so far have been from having to prevent being homeless. Shit is pretty funny.

This is the prime reason why I’ve always said, never move in with a female if you’re young, in school, and getting your life together. It’s too much trouble.

So I just went to the weight room to do my usual thing around this time… and the room is PACKED. Who the fuck are these people. Goddamn. I purposely go before the room locks to avoid this shit. Finally my gym has stopped with all the random BBWs and fat sweaty men with their new years resolutions that failed. They didn’t last 3 months, so for that, I’m very happy.

On the flip side of that coin, I’m tired of some of the 5AM regulars that talk socialize too much and above all else the guy who **RESTS ON THE MACHINE. ** You know what I’m talking about. The guy who’s on that leg press machine with eight 45lb plates on it with his hands behind his head not doing anything but sitting there looking at the weights like it’s gonna move by itself. He does 3 reps then sits there and chills for another 30 minutes before moving another muscle like there’s nobody else who wants to use the machine he’s on. Yeah, I can’t stand that guy.

I think folks are getting their hopes up for nothing on the River City Ransom sequel— it’s most likely going to be “modernized”, at least in terms of the visual presentation…and of course, I doubt people are going to like that at all. There’s a specific 8-bit look that comes to mind of course when I think of that game…if it were “updated” with today’s graphics, it would be “just another beatemup game”…but maybe that’s just me. Then again, it probably can’t sell today if they don’t bump up the graphics to at least some higher resolution 2-d sprites (*like a modern cartoony thing— Scott Pilgrim or Castle Crashers, or whatever that’s been released recently)

*ah yes… the Bayonetta soundtrack continues to own my soul…currently listening to the Brenda Lee rendition of “Fly Me to the Moon” (this plays as the ending theme…I forgot if it is before or after B’s “big dance number” bit though), which is the best version to me…so nice.

2012 will be THE SHIT if we can parry/block/dodge-roll the fabled “end of the world shit” that’s scheduled of course… I’m all over that new Resident Evil, then there’s my precious Prototype 2…just with those 2 games it’s already going to be a legendary gaming year to me.

The ones who REALLY piss me off are the ones who get an attitude when you go up to them as they are dangling their fool asses on the machine, and ask them how many sets they have left, and, when they inevitably say more than one, refuse to let you work in, and get your lifts done. Motherfuckers have almost gotten Bionic-Armed, on more than one occasion.

And Dark Phoenix vs. Dark Phoenix continues to be stupid as hell. Congrats at getting 5th, though.

I was, however, under the impression that you had replaced Phoenix with Shuma-Gorath instead of M.O.D.O.K. with Shuma-Gorath considering the team that you were beating my ass with last time. I think that you should do that, personally, given how hideously unfair Chaos Dimension is, but you’re the one playing, so…

That said, you’re Shuma’s looking pretty damn good and it would be nice to see someone actually use M.O.D.O.K. (competently) in a tournament. I haven’t see ANY videos of him or Viewtful Joe in tournaments, which I can’t say is surprising, but still. Then again, I was pretty damn surprised to see someone using Super Skrull (and on point no less), even if does seem like that someone has horrible habit of Meteor Smashing into Super regardless of it if hits or gets blocked.

Meh. The “end of the world” happens at the end of next year supposedly (or May 21st of this year…or October 21st of this year), so unless you’re getting those games for X-mas or something, even if the world (read: humanity) ends, you should be good. Well, beyond the whole “eternal Hellfire” bullshit, but given that Heaven is also a Hell, meh for the most part.

Yeah see this thing happens with me sometimes in these tournaments when I go up against name players…it’s called my brain completely shuts off. Basically I just went into auto pilot and played it like a regular match for some reason instead of using anti-phoenix strategies. As you can see I didn’t even attempt to snap her in, which I always try to do.

I was playing around with that team for a while, but modok doesn’t have an assist that hits after wolverine’s throw -> df + M…and he just sucks/im not that good with him. There are actually a few good modoks at WNF, they just never seem to do too well (except husser brian who got 2nd that one week).

Luckily my gym is out somewhat in the country where the people are older than myself and nice and I don’t have that issue too much. But still, it’s inconvenient. If there’s only one machine for a specific type of exercise, why not be prompt about getting off it in a timely manner? Makes sense to me.

You only feel this way because you are unaware of just how many updates Neketsu Monogatari has actually had. The PC Engine version looks great and thats the style they should emulate, if they plan plan to emulate a look from one of the older games instead of going with a new one. The GBA version looks really nice to.
