Wow, I’m quite surprised how much on-screen death there is in The Clone Wars and without any cut-aways too. It’s damn refreshing to see something be so blunt with glorifying the violence of it.
Also, I’m still quite surprised at how above average Generator Rex is. Did not have any expectations whatsoever on that show. It’s equally nice to see a non-white superhero who at the same time isn’t only his minority. Comic books could learn a thing or two from that…if anyone still read (American) comics.

Anything in life whether it be pop corn or tomatoes, if your mind makes it so you need it everyday it’s probably good to take a prolonged break until you stop feeling like you need it. Anything turns into a purple dragon over a long enough time frame.
I forgot mention before that Sym-Bionic Titan also continues to be great. I really need to catch with back episodes for everything since I had ignored Cartoon Network for the longest even before Toonami officially died. That Titan’s day got moved around as well also doesn’t help.

I also wouldn’t be surprised if people had thought a black man in Japan at that time–even though the Yasuke incident happened at least a couple of centuries before the time that Samurai Champloo takes place–was just another one of the show’s intentional anachronisms. Thus they thought “fuck it” and just had Japanese people being the one to beatbox and such.

it’s funny because like the 2nd episode I saw I was thinking to myself, “man, I’m really getting tired of all of these ‘super honkey characters’. When will there ever be like a Super-Mex or something?”
That’s when I realized this was Rex’s “origin” episode where his brother told him he was a Vato. Now I like that cartoon.
Oh yeah, Symbionic Titan got canceled of course, in case you didn’t know. This is how life works---- anything that is good and enjoyable eventually gets shut down quickly.
Life would be so much more enjoyable and easy if I could just acquire vast amounts of wealth and the immortality/invincibility combo package. If I ever came across a genie/djinn/3-wishes situation for real… that’s probably what I’d settle on. Those 3 things could basically eliminate any terrible or even “inconvenient” things the average person will ever encounter in life. Limitless wealth alone takes care of about 95 to 99% of the problems out there…it’s almost like cheating at the game of life. Add in some immortality and invincibility to the mix, and life becomes a joke…one where you always get the last laugh.
