I think the only reason Obama is having a hard time in office is because he is doing nothing to screw over the American people. Ever since Reagan, the presidents have been playing a really fucked up game of chicken with the citizens: “How much shit can I get away with before there is a bloody revolution?” Unfortunately Reagan set the bar soo high that Bush Sr. and Clinton couldn’t really follow up to a higher level, they tried, although it can be said in retrospective that Glass-Steagall act being repealed during the Clinton administration was some top tier strat. Obama didn’t know about this game because: 1) He’s not old money, 2) He’s black. See black people are only good at cockblocking themselves, not ruining mass amounts of people; had it been Robert Johnson, then he would’ve had a good start by being the founder of BET. He keeps trying to help when what he should be doing is trying to fuck up the country more.

the trick is to find the sweet spot that maximizes income. sometimes this is a higher tax rate, sometimes it’s less
I watched Colbert awhile back and they mentioned that raising the taxes even a minute percentage on rich fucks would generate more $$$ than taking half of EVERYTHING (money and possessions) from the lower income bracket. It got somewhat ridiculous when companies and individuals could spend/lose billions and not be affected.
