AE is balls though. Think about it, the finals (eve though were very exciting and well played), were decided more on random gimmicks than any of the solid play that makes SF. If you gave Seth a super jump and an air dash, gave C. Viper an air dash, it looked like Guilty Gear or Blazblue. Shit BlazBlue had more of a ground game and fireball game in the finals than the SF finals did and that’s sad.
Shotouts to nerfing Ryu’s crouching forward: telltale sign that they had no idea of what they were doing.
you sound like an old guy just cranky things are changing too much. i’d rather have an exciting game, than the same old shit…same old shit doesnt bring in new blood for $rk. I was on the edge of my seat for a good portion of the finals, it makes people wanna play. i dont see a real issue in this supposed random gimmicky finals…which it really wasnt.
There used to be an old trick where you could hold up a scratch and win ticket to a good strong light. after about a minute or so, the stuff covering the numbers (Or symbols, etc) would become visible and you could win everytime. however, if they were running a scam, you’d also see that too. As far as I know, that little trick doesn’t work now. Meh. Nothing like getting that money for nothing and the checks for free.
ah, good ol’ fashioned gfaqs “drama” I was just reading… I really don’t understand people that actually continue to post on a board for a particular game despite hating it. What is the point in even wasting your time with that? It’s obviously done just to repeatedly stir up shit with the fans of whatever game it is. There’s an endless number of more entertaining things to do on the internet, imo (like all the free porn laying around here in cyberspace…or forums about games you actually enjoy…or more porn…). It’s strange to me when people repeatedly go out of their way for this. Basically, it would be satisfying to watch these type of people get punched as hard as possible in the face by 1980s-era Mike Tyson.
*I caught a few matches from EVO, and that moment where the guy KOed himself because of Deadpool’s faulty 3rd teleport = GOLD. (*it was down to him vs. Mike Ross’ Hulk, and it looked like he was actually making a comeback!) I actually saved that particular clip. “You pressed the wrong button!” indeed. This game is still almost more fun to watch than it is to play, imo.
…well, except when terrible people play it, of course. Isn’t that annoying when they’re showing off a game at something like Comic Con, E3 or any other big event…and the person demonstrating the gameplay makes the game look boring? That’s quite unfortunate for the game, and it’s aggravating to watch… like imagine someone demonstrating a new Bayonetta or DMC… and the chump playing is doing NO combos, NO launchers, just running around occasionally hitting the enemies…but mostly getting his ass whooped by even the low-level grunts because he sucks. If you’re trying to demo the game and create “hype”, this should never happen.
\don’t know how you guys can watch blaze blue, worst moving 2d fighter I have seen in a long time. It reminded me of HDR before they tweaked the art work so it didn’t look like it was popping.
(As much as I didn’t care about her when the news was focusing on the story ad-infinitum, I have to admit that Congresswoman Giffords looks kinda cute with the short hair.)
Well, the first day in August was been completely wasted. I think I literally spent all day sleeping after finally getting to bed at 5:00 A.M. Damn insomnia. I guess I’ll just try to force myself to stay awake again throughout tomorrow, though it’s not like that ever works…
Funny thing is that I had gotten spoiled to the incident months ago via TVTropes, but I didn’t expect the actual scene to be so…one-sided.
