I don’t know if you know any of the old school SFE players, but two of them came out to an event a few weeks back. While SFE is not Richmond, they were known country-wide, and repped Springfield. If you were active back in the Tag days, you should know them. The OGs are coming back slowly because of Tag 2 and more importantly, Tag 1 HD.

Also, the Wii U is probably not gonna do as well as they’re expecting, I haven’t heard anyone say they’re super excited about it. I’m not planning on getting it, but I heard Gearbox was gonna let Sega publish Aliens vs Predator for it. The game was disappointing, but what makes this interesting is that they announced the motion tracker was gonna be on the controller’s screen at appropriate times. I made a shitty gif a while ago to see what it would probably look like:
I remember the game did put you in pitch black darkness, using the motion tracker to help defend yourself against the Xenomorphs. This mechanic/gimmick/whatever alone has the potential to be fucking awesome. Bricks will be shat.
I’m sorry but that sounds like bullshit. The motion tracker from Aliens is supposed to shit out whenever you actually need it. Turning the motion tracker into a gimmick, as an incentive to play an old game, means the tracker will be operational most if not all the time. Fail.

Actually I was wrong about one thing. I was thinking they were gonna port over the game that came out two years ago(it was called Aliens vs Predator too, hazy memory of mine is confusing the names around). Nintendo doesn’t actually understand concepts like comfort and ergonomics. They just continue making toys for kids, who wont care that the buttons are below the sticks and thus a pain in the balls to use cuz your thumb doesn’t bend that way.
