Woah woah woah! There was a clear bias by posters (not you) for Asian women which skewed the objectivity of the tournament. That’s not up for debate at this point. Apart from a few genuine standouts (Miwa and Reon Kadena being standouts who I helped nominate) most of the Asian women were winning less on attractiveness and more on their popularity.
I **NEVER **voted for banning Asians, and there are many times where I voted for Asian women because they were geniunely more attractive. When the whole segregation idea came forth, I agreed with it because you could get the best representatives from each group in the end to showdown. I don’t think Esther would’ve won any other way, because posters would be like “Esther who?” and instinctually vote for the girl they know from movies, K/J-pop, shows, etc. The finale allowed for a lengthier time period for people to vote, which allowed a greater volume of posters overall.
I was one of the most objective posters of the tournament and I even voted against my favorites because I admitted some opponents were genuinely hotter. If I couldn’t decide or was unimpressed with both contestants, I simply didn’t vote. I was vociferous when it came to calling out bullshit, but I didn’t undermine the tournament in any way.
Kaz, good luck to you, at least with the new embed feature you can now post vids and pics that lazy people don’t have to “work” to click on, make the presentations more accommodating.
Oh and last but not least, it’s probably not a good idea to nominate any woman who has won the tournament prior. It will at least make the tournament fresh and less trolly.
People like you who wouldn’t let shit go. People who thought there was some kind of mad conspiracy. I had to hear people whining about this and that in too many matches. Bottom line: unless people voted the way the more vocal thought they should, then everything sucked and it was wrong.
What I loved was all the voting. And people getting other people to vote. What I didn’t like was that people just couldn’t accept the results of those matches that didn’t go their way. They would immediately think everyhting was fixed, which made that pissiness turn towards me and the rest of matches.
Again, what do you need to know the names of people who were on the committee for? Especially when you’re just gonna bitch about the same shit?

After talking to a few people, I’ve come up with a few ways to make the Women’s Tournament less ‘troll prone’ and also it will be different. Even if we included past winners as I’m planning on doing, I can guarantee they won’t win as they have before based on how it will be ran this time.
