That said, I did flip shit on another person yesterday… for making a sarcastic comment on a post of mine, and when I approached him about it, he told me I need to “relax and grow up” and to kill myself… I had the fury of a thousand gods going through my blood and I wanted to rip his fucking head off… That’s rational, compared to the way I treated my sister, yes?
*To clarify why that comment particularly struck a nerve - I mentioned that my friend passed away. What I didn’t mention was that it was suicide.

And on terms of reviews, I don’t really bother with them because in the end, it’s your own personal opinion. Reviews can help raise or lower expectations on something when it’s best to find out on your own. If I followed every self-proclaimed asshole’s opinion on some bullshit site, I’d never see or play anything. Fuck the sheep mentality. Waste your money and then bitch about it properly (if said game is bad).

they did so because anarchy reigns has been a well known title of interest for a fucking while. why has it got so much attention, love, hype, and a following? well first of all platinum games isn’t in the business of making bad games. also you may want to consider that a lot of people got the japanese demo when they released it on the jpsn store and also imported the shit for 80 dollars based on the demo alone. also, platinum games?
if you know someone personally who doesn’t like anarchy reigns and has played it, then it’s very likely that individual has comparable taste in games to someone who prefers to play halo exclusively because it is the best fps ever made. or maybe they prefer x-men on nes. fuck it, pick whatever you think is a terrible game and that is probably the type of game they enjoy.
edit: @angelpalm well in that hypothetical scenario, i’m sure i’d see you there. maybe we could get some games in or some other wacky shit. then again since we’re talking about hell, it would probably be some fucked up shit where the only game we could play would be NES dragon’s lair.

I played the Anarchy Reigns demo, I just don’t plain care for it. Seems like a typical beat-em up with slightly more depth. I’m sure its decent, cuz Platinum doesn’t make shitty games, but hardly worth the fanfare. It being $30 is actually a reasonable price.
if you try hard enough you can do or be anything you want. but don’t take my word for it!
edit: clearly if you don’t like action games along the lines of titles such as bayonetta or even that transformers game (the one with an online versus mode similar to AR) then you obviously won’t enjoy this game.
that shouldn’t be too hard to get, if you don’t like sports games then you probably don’t enjoy playing madden or whatever. that doesn’t necessarily mean a well made/good/enjoyable sports game sucks, it means you just don’t like the type of game it is.
