K’ lost a bunch of his juggles/possibilities, Andy lost priority on some stuff, and of course Raiden can’t really dropkick-nanigans anymore.
Terry gained some new links/juggles, and our local Hwa Jai player says that character moves faster compared to the arcade version and is better with pokes now. I believe Clark got a few buffs in console too, same with Ryo.
These are just some that I remember off the top of my head, at least it feels that way, having only played the arcade version prior to this.
So far I’ll probably use Terry/Raiden/ and either Kim or Clark, maybe Kim for some FF flavor teams in a way. I got to rep Terry, even if he doesn’t say are you okay anymore =/
The latest season of Index had 2 prevailing themes: 1) huge boobs and 2) chicks getting punched in their faces. I want to say that episode was somewhere a little after mid-season, and that was probably the sixth or seventh time a chick got punched dead in her knot.
Here’s some extra weirdness for ya. The XBOX controllers are taking some getting used to, but I felt totally at home on the N64 controllers. Even so, I still never beat Mischief makers and for some reason, on the game Forsaken I would always choose to fly upside down. True Story.
The weekend is so much more enjoyable when you choose to avoid those in life you find to be annoying. It’s unfortunate though when the aforementioned people never ever take a hint, and they continually call you FOREVER.
This reminds me that just about every aspect of life would probably be easier if I were just an absolute, purely evil asshole that didn’t care about anyone’s feelings or perceptions.
…and I’ve just reminded myself of that ultimate anti-social fantasy once again… to wake up one day and realize the rest of the entire human population is gone forever.
yeah, that movie was miserable. i completely checked out when DD was fighting Elektra in the playground and they both jumped on opposite ends of the seesaw and somehow they balanced it. how the fuck do you not know how a seesaw works? are they trying to say DareDevil weighs the same as Elektra? the opposite? FUCK!
The Game Cube controller has always been the most comfortable for me.
I wish they would put Mischief Makers on VC so that I don’t have to bust my N64 back out to play it. MM and Rayman 2 were my favorite N64 games even though I never had the controller pack for Rayman 2 and couldn’t save.
…and a 5th time this guy has called today, all within the same late morning/mid-day frame of time, making sure to leave yet another message. Goddamn that’s pathetic, man. Anyone else have a “friend” like that?.. someone that can’t seem to have fun on their own in life for a change? It’s like they have absolutely no concept of “personal time”, even for their own sake. "…God Himself frowns when thinking of him… he is… The Most Annoying Man in the World."
Sometimes, I also want to go back in time and punch Alexander Graham Bell himself in the face, because the telephone itself is that annoying to me. Even with the invention of “silent mode”, it annoys me to glance over and notice the phone’s screen is flashing because someone is calling. (*to which I’m thinking “OH GEE I wonder who that is!?”…words that are dripping over with sarcasm, if you couldn’t tell.) Naturally, this means I’ve also taken to putting the phone in some out-of-the-way place where I can’t even accidentally see it in peripheral vision when I prefer to not be bothered by anyone at all. Really, after call #2, wouldn’t one assume that the person you’re calling does not wish to be bothered at this time? How empty is your life that you sit around trying to call 1 person upwards of 5 or 6 times within such a short span of time? That is just beyond sad, man. The funny thing is that I say this as a person who admittedly has NO LIFE.
