Nice to finally hit GGPO again after a long hiatus. I forgot how awesome it is to play people from Mexico and South Korea etc with relatively little lag.

Although there does seem to be some hardware lag going on- I remember from back when I was using the Windows 7 beta a year or two ago. I’d have hoped it wouldn’t still be that way, but it’s still here in the legit version- I guess I’m going to have to monkey with my resolution etc., and see if I can find a fix.

edit: Wow. Just realized all of the food I bought from the grocery store is still sitting on the couch, from about 4 hours ago when I started playing. That is some junkie behavior…

When I pop dvd’s into my dvd drive, I’m getting a weird distorted sound and video. Almost like a slightly laggy stream. Any idea what that could be?

you have any extra cables you can try swapping out to see if they are the problem? dvd only issue? if it’s not the composites it may be the player itself.

Well Geese Pants you were right, another Trickster episode down in Supernatural and it was complete gold and had me thinking a lot more about the outcome than any episode so far.

I don’t claim to be a Trekky by any means, only really enjoying DS9 but the Trickster episodes in this series reminds me of the Q episodes in TNG.

I’ve never played any of the Persona games. But the fighting game has really caught my fancy. I haven’t copped KOF (and I probably won’t unless I see more characters I like, ie. Blue Mary, Yamazaki, Rugal, Rock Howard, and Geese) but I may cop the Persona fighting game. It looks really cool. The dude with chair looks awesome and I really like the chick with the fans. I know none of the characters’ names.
