This is all kind of creepy to me, I’m unphased and shut down as I am want to do when some tragedy hits close. Just worried if someone related to me was shot or not, since so far they haven’t released names. But considering he is a FW Cop I’m sure he is fine.

I’m of two minds.

On one hand, as a white person, I’m would be not only more likely to be shot by police in the US, I’m also more likely to be shot during a direct interaction with police, such as when I’m pulled over. Ain’t no white people taking up arms against the cops although we’re the ones ACTUALLY in the most danger from them.

On the other hand, somebody needs to pay for at least two of the shootings. I just wish it was against the actual departments involved.

statistically this is true, what pisses people of is the per capita rate. And that’s what matters, I get where white people bitch about it, but the per capita number is what makes people feel and say there is systemic violence. It also doesn’t help that media pushes stories of white man did some stupid shit and police where like OK, and then report police shot black man because lulz.
