Her whole campaign is based around flip-flopping and going with what the crowd wants her to at the time, while actually being her donors’ bitch. She was against flag burning and saying that it was unpatriotic back in the early 2000’s when she was Senator of NY and it’s like “bitch that’s 1st Amendment rights you’re talkin bout here.” It’s clear she doesn’t give a damn about what the people want and wipes her ass with our Constitution by being in favor of criminalizing free political expression, as well as voting for the Patriot Act which shits on the 4th Amendment.
On a side note I found it hilarious how she dodged the question about supporting the workers protesting Verizon and she was like “My record shows I’ve always been in favor of workers’ rights.” while she’s taking over 200 grand for speaking fees to Verizon.
(has no idea what a “gram filter” is and doesn’t want to assume further
I’ll take your word for it.)
That’s the thing about Hillary that makes me impossible to want to vote for her, even purely for pragmatic reasons. It’s one thing to lie or change your position some of the time when it suits you best; it’s an entirely different thing to do both of those things all the time.
Whatever. This is part of the reason I’m not watching the ad nauseam oxymoron that is “election news”.
Nah. The point of wallets is to make it easier for you to get robbed. Duh.
(Gods damn, Hollywood. Good to know I was actually giving you too much credit.)
I don’t have anything against wallets, for the most part. I’ve just had no reason to carry one for the past couples of years between a) walking everywhere, b) still having my ID on me at all times even without the wallet, and c) being a broke motherfucker who pays in cash nowadays and even before my funds “ran out” tended to do so anyway. I also wear a jacket everywhere and most of the pockets on my jackets have zippers and are sideways, so I don’t have to worry about stuff falling out if I go to grab something.
That’s about the gist of it. Shrug.
(I also tend to have my Social Security card in my wallet and I really don’t want to lose that, obviously, with no better place to put it presently since it’s not like I have a safe or anything.)
Imma just believe thats fake, because i dont have enough energy right now to rage hard enough at the idea of that being real.
I’ll say this though. I mean, its about the mighty dollar right, but at the end of the day, these crackas in hollywood are suppose to be liberal progressives, who adopt black african babies, but they have no issues starring in films that aint even suppose to involve they cracka asses.
Dave chappelle show was way ahead of his time when paul mooney said next theyre gonna have last nigga on earth starring tom hanks. Which is even funnier, that a decade later, tom hanks son was trying to justify why it should be okay for him to use the word nigga.
So I got a nice big check today…that’s pretty much all going to the government. I’m supposed to get a bunch back from previous tax returns but the IRS is taking their sweet ass time to get it back to me.
I also copped Slain! and am really looking forward to digging into that game this weekend.
Anyway, mounting disgust as the world aside, I might as well post more music before I forget, even though I still can’t remember what I originally wanted to post. It’s going to nag me all day now:

So why not just hire an Asian actress?
Lol Hollywood.
[/quote]
Because they’re not white and thus can’t bring people to seats because it’s been “proven” they can’t by never being cast as main actors? [/Hollywood circular logic]
(So what explains it then? Especially since we’re talking about movies here rather than TV?)
I mean, it’s not like it’s impossible for minorities to carry “white people” biases either. Still, I’m definitely open to any other explanation that actually fits though.
It’s just difficult for that to not seem to the case when people like Justin Long, whom I don’t hate or anything, get seemingly infinite changes to be the main character of something despite being ultimately mediocre while there’s a paucity of Asian people even after yellowface stopped getting used…for the most part.
looks at Cloud Atlas
So, yeah, I’m open to what you think causes it, @RockBogart, since you’re not arguing that some bias in casting minorities in Hollywood doesn’t exist. Unless you are? I can’t really tell given how laconic you are and how atonal the Internet is.
You are still arguing that my view of how Hollywood seems to view things is false, though, right? I ask because, again, for whatever reason, there seems to be a disconnect between TV and movies despite them both being mostly Hollywood productions and I really can’t see what else Hollywood’s internal logic would be even if we’re taking into the equally repeated “sexual favors for acting roles” thing that people (rightfully?) believe. The only other thing I can see is maybe that’s just not enough people of that “race” in Hollywood, but then that’s just part of the circular logic: why would there be that many people who try if they never get cast anything other bit, often still stereotypical parts?
It’s like how (mostly) non-stereotypical gay people or even just people who aren’t “straight” can be part of shows that have mainstream TV nowadays, and as main characters to boot, but good luck finding any of those people in any Hollywood movie as anything but a shallow stereotype, if that.
Maybe. I rarely carry cash around with me unless I’m going to a grocery store or to meet an associate, which is less often than not. I also don’t have enough pockets for it to not get in the way, especially given how bulky my wallet would get if I carried cash in it, which is why I used to not do so.
I’m just afraid that I’m going to lose the entire thing, which would be unacceptable, instead of individual things, which while still annoying is far more acceptable.
This does reminded me that I do have to get my state ID renewed this year. Yay.
